Carrier vs CAS warfare!!
Jan 3rd, 1949
The American never learnt their lesson. They keep on sending carrier fleets to thwart Mongol Pacific islands hopping operations.
Vice Admiral Price’s 5-ship carrier fleet consisting of 2-CV, 1-CL & 2-DD approaches Mindanao island of southern Philippines…
Ulanhu (Chief of Air-force): Come here baby! Come to papa!!
With the Airforce Chief in direct command of the attack, a locust swarm of 15 CAS air-wings sets out on the unsuspecting carrier fleet. And BOOM! BOOM!! Two carriers, USS Ticonderoga and USS Randolph find their way down to the seabed with one of their escort destroyer!
Chimid (Chief of Staff): Superb! With such a protective force, our amphibious landings will be a lot safer!
Ulanhu (Chief of Air-force): My only problem is airbase. Just like your ground troops, I need bases to hop from to the next.
Yanjmaa (Armaments): We have construction works on up to 6 air-bases running in parallel at any one time. Cheap labor is plentiful from the lands of the empire!
It will take care of that problem of yours!

The air-power protection of the CAS air fleet helps Mongol army to expand into SE Asia like never before! A foothold at Papua New Guinea and many more in the Indonesian Archipelago!
Choybalsan (Chief of Army): We’re doing well! We ARE!!
Luvsansara (Head of Gov): Kublai Khan landed in Jawa only and quit! We have certainly earned the respect of our ancestors for going the extra distance!

Fleet Auxiliary Submarine Doctrine researched!
Ganbaatar (Chief of Navy): What subs??! We have none!
Yanjmaa (Armaments): Nah! It is just one of the many basic stuff that we need to learnt up on overall navy warfare before we branch out to specific doctrine. Our next tech to focus on will be Great War Battleship!
Ganbaatar (Chief of Navy): Ahh! That sounds wickedly better! I want some super heavies like the Bismarck and Yamato!! Only ships of those stature deserves Genghis name on it!

The coward Hitler moved his capital from nowhere Rogachev that actually has been encircled to Murmansk near the Arctic Circle!
Nyambuu (Intel): The crazed dictator fled, he manage to slip through probably as a civilian across our lines in Southern Moscow to escape north probably along the Finnish border.
Choybalsan (Chief of Army): Or perhaps… through Finland! I cannot believe he get through all our check points! We are already in control of the narrow land-strip to the Scandinavian region.
Chimid (Chief of Staff): We shall see! Never liked them, we have border disputes with the Finnish! Let’s see if they dare to step on our toes this time.

Mongol continues to makes progress into conquests of the Indonesian islands that has fallen from Japan to American.
The Mongols landed in the middle of the Celebes island and from there span out. The first objective is Menado city to the north that houses an airbase and a navalbase which was attacked a week later. Forty thousand American GIs are killed including an entire tank division! Prisoners are maimed to death just like what Khan would have wanted.

Off the coast of Borneo island, US Fleet Admiral Nimitz carrier fleet are making their way to Mongol’s position. The fleet last spotted in West African coast has come to stop Mongol conquest of SE Asia and has a long history of sinking many Mongol ships especially transports at port!
Air Marshall Zhalnin (CAS fleets): It is time that we show the US carrier fleet that they cannot shove us around anymore! US has their strong sea-based bombers but we have an equally strong land-based bombers! Let’s see who triumphs this time!
And with that, Zhalnin’s squadron engages Nimitz 25-ship fleet consisting of 6-CV, 2-CVL, 4-CA, 2-CL & 11 DD.
Ulanhu (Chief of Air-force): The rest of the bombers including mine shall be joining you shortly!
Mongol bombs start raining down on the pride of the American naval fleet! Scenes of destruction are everywhere! Bombs gouges holes on the deck, salt water gushes in drowning scores, sailor screaming for their mom….

The next day, eleven more CAS/naval-bomber air-wings joined in the fight as Nimitz fleet slog through his journey along the northern coast of Borneo.
Ulanhu (Chief of Air-force): The carrier fleet path is predictable, don’t let Nimitz get away!!!
Carrier taskforce is taken aback by the ferocity… and the numbers involved in the attack. It is a horde attack!! It is like walking straight into a trap!
Reaching the northern tip of Borneo, Mongols CAS and naval bombers STILL continues to engage the beleaguered Nimitz carrier taskforce!
Ulanhu (Chief of Air-force): Ahh… burning carriers are a nice thing to watch! Not everyday you see bonfires in the open ocean!
Nimitz loses his own flagship carrier, USS George Washington before escaping, disappearing somewhere into the Philippines Sea, shaking off his trail from the hunt of the aerial hordes!
Poor Fleet Admiral Nimitz!! His taskforce has taken a beating. From a 25-ship fleet, it has been reduced to only 19 ships losing 4 carriers & two of its CL/DD escorts and untold damage of varying degree to other ships! Instead of taking on Mongol transports in landing operations, the ‘predator’ was attacked by and have to flee empty handed!!
Ulanhu (Chief of Air-force): Haha!!! We sure taught them a lesson! Admiral Nimitz shall never be the same person again!
Ganbaatar (Chief of Navy): He is certainly shaken to his bones! His own ship, the very bridge he is presiding over is in flames! Shameful abandoning his own ship for another!
Chimid (Chief of Staff): Hahaaa, you guys really make a US Fleet Admiral been hoisted down on life raft and been transported to another ship! What a humiliation for them! From now on, their feet shall be closer to the ground! No more in the clouds!!
One can twist and turn but eventually one bomb gonna hit and deal the fatal blow… The wrecked American carriers forms “Floating lighthouses”, drifting aimlessly along the Borneo coast, a testament that the sea is no longer beyond the reach of the hordes!
