Don't forget westernisation takes away 3 stability, which for an AI empire like that often means suicide.

5 Stability actually. That would instantly rid Ming of the Mandate of Heaven bonus and give them the penalty. Ofcourse, I severely doubt AI Ming would even get the sliders to be able to westernise.

No, I started on the 1492 bookmark, so I could start colonizing America straight away.
I was using the terra incognita cheat to see what happened in areas I didn't know about yet.You also use cheats
Open up the cheat console and use "ti" (without the quotes of course) and when you want to disable it, use "ti" again.
I played as Vijayanagar with that cheat. By 20 years Europe was invading India (somehow controlling all their Indian provinces gives less than 1% war score) and all Native Americans except for Huron and Inca were wiped out. It's now too late to turn back.
overseas provinces does not count much in war score (to be honest they count nearly nothing
