With the new "luck" factor for a few natons (Persia is probably one in my game) we could see a few challenges in form of big AI nations. This Persia just crushed Ottomans + allies in a war..

Thats the intent of the "luck" factor.. to build up upto 8 major powers that can provide challenge for the mid & endgame.

1453 start tho, theyve had 50 years, but Castille, France and Portugal were off from the get go, within a year i saw colonists leaving France for the caribbean

Alot of that is conquest too, Creek, Cherokee, Shawnee and Iroquois appear to have been annexed
Fah, look at the real-life colonial holdings of Spain and Portugal in 1542, 50 years after Columbus. Aztecs and Incans annexed and, for the most part, converted by Spain, Brazil soldily being colonized by Portugal, Cuba a core province of Spain...

Since...

Hm checked event...

Code:
		has_building = fort1
		NOT = { has_building = fort2

Does that mean it happenes only for lvl 1 forts? :confused:

How does "lucky" get chosen?

Any country (except players) can end up with it, but are weighted to be more or less likely. France for instance, is lucky in 90% of games, while you'll only see a lucky Ming or Oirat Horde once in a blue moon.

No, all government names/titles can now have culture/religion variations.
