sorry for the silly question but all I need to do is DL the 1.2 patch right? this is not a patch in the true sense of the word in that I have too DL a "common weapons mod" and then patch with 1.2?

You have to patch Common Weapons of WWII with 1.2, yes. You need to buy and install the DLC first and then extract the patch over it.

I just noticed that PI put out a 2.4e beta patch out. Before I consider it, would anyone know if Common Weapons DLC will work OK with it?
On another note, any chance to release a "bundle DLC: Common + Uncommon weapons & SS" Devildread is working on for a cohesive game play instead of treating each as a separate mod/game?

I am going to buy semper Fi now but wanted to know if this mod was compatible first.
I have SF v2.04e. In April, I downloaded and installed Common Weapons from Gamers Gate. Is this the latest CW version, or do I need to install the 1.1 and 1.2 patches?

exactly that nothing more and nothing less. i see nothing about a patch from gamersgate...
How do I mod my savegames? I found the file, but I can't open it with MS Notepad. I have the Gamersgate version if that matters.

You should be able to open it like any other savegame. Try with notepad++ perhaps.

And if not, when will it be ready?
Devildread mentioned July 15 as ETA for the patches for both DiG and CW.
It may be delayed if Paradox releases another FTM patch shortly before that date (which is pretty likely, given the state of 3.03).
