We've reached July 1940 and the Japan player has resigned from the game so a replacement is needed!
Currently we have players for the UK, USA, Germany, Italy & the USSR.

Japan & the European Axis are in a strong position. China fell in late-1938 & France fell in late-1939 after Germany ignited the European war on 30 August 1939.
At the moment, Japan's only options are to declare war on the USA and/or UK due to the situation, and then join the Axis thereafter.
Japan is at peace, with China, Siam, Vietnam, Manchukuo & Mengukuo as its puppets.
Germany & Italy control much of mainland Europe - including Sweden - but tried advancing through Turkey and were halted by the Allies at the Sea of Marmara. Since then there has been a stalemate in Europe.
The USSR controls Spain, Iceland, Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Dutch East Indies; alongside Finland & the Baltics
The previous Japan player is willing to answer any questions, including on what their strategy was before they resigned.
