And then... "This game sucks! Everyone and their mother is forging claims on my provinces. Those HRE dudes are way powerful and rich and keep forging claims on my land. How can I beat that? This game sucks!"

Yes, you did. Spare me the dialectics. It's implied by your desire for rulers to not be charged more as they become richer. This makes it easier anyway you look at it. But to make it clearer what I actually said was "easier or cheaper". You just chose to pick on the one that you thought would give you some headroom. But failed even so.

I think that's enough discussion of people and their posts. If you can't say something constructive about fabricating claims on neighbors or vassals, you might as well sit quietly and listen.
