I Alexander J. Fuller hereby join the Libertarian Party, I do this because of my moderate socialistic views and in hope that having a voice of moderation in the party will stop it from being dragged into the abyss of radicalization. I wish to say that I am considering entering the run for the presidency if no suitable candidates appear in the Libertarian Party. I will say my general views are slightly more in favor of providing small amounts of aid to the South as without any aid I fear the South would begin to regard the rest of the nation as enemy forever, leading eventually to another Civil War.

Mr Vallejo, perhaps it would be prudent of you to join the New Democrat Party, seeing as you have been a constant voice of moderation these past years, and the party would greatly benefit from one with your standing as well as experience. Whether or not you run for our nomination if you join would not affect how much the party would grow from your addition.

I Rear Admiral Alexander J. Fuller endorse Colonel Eamon Callahan as nominee for the Libertarian Party nomination and urge my fellow party members to do the same. I can safely say that there are no similarities between Colonel Callahan and his traitorous father.

I, Eldud Walsh, declare my candidacy for the nomination of the New Democrats for President.

I would also like to point out the Senator Howard is ineligible for either President or VP, being only 30, he will also be ineligible next time as he shall be only 34. Is he even eligible to be in Congress?

((I was not aware there was an age limit. I also picked a birth date that sounded reasonable as I was unsure of the current date at the time. However i belived that the minimum age for a senator was 30. I never heard about the age limit for president. I will not stand down and my candidacy still stands. If there is indeed an age requirement then that is discrimination (ageism). At a time when equality is key I believe the constitution should be changed to stop this ageism))

Admiral Fuller, I implore you not to fire upon or commit any hostile act towards the refugee fleet leaving South Carolina under the command of Admiral Thompson, CSA. You will not be fired upon unless the fleet is fired upon. We are at your mercy, being bottled up in a harbour it is likely you could easily devastate this fleet and all the poor souls within it. Please do not try to impede our arrival in Cuba as the fleet cannot hold proisions for tens of thousands of refugees for more than a couple of days making Cuba the only viable port-of-call. To this end we have removed the guns from the smaller Ironclad "Turtles" and "Rams" to store food and make them more stable for a open ocean journey. I Repeat, please do not fire upon the fleet headed by CSS Stonewall ((A Ironclad Cruiser from Europe, it has its own wikipedia page))

The southern old guard must be punished, and a Republican South is imperative for Reconstruction. I also urge Libertarians to consider joining the Republican side for this election.

People of America, many of you think of me as an old man. That is not true. I am in fact, only 60, younger than John Adams, James Monroe and Andrew Jackson wre when they became president, and, for the record, have no gray hairs or, indeed, any physical ailment. I am experienced, true, but surely that is the best combination, experienced enough to know, yet young enough to do.

My economic policy would be to find out those raw materials produced in America but have enough unsold or exported goods to to supply a factory, and a factory there is a hole in the market for. I would build these factories in the largest cities in the south, to employ black workers with no means of living thanks to emancipation. I want to stress that is no criticism of that move, but President Williams has only given the blacks freedom to starve, and we must now give them freedom to live.

Having said that, though, I have to condemn President Williams. You remember I was highly criticised for my handling of the Tubman riots. Well, I assure you, if any other man had been in the White House save Nicholas Gafferty and perhaps John F. Cameron, there would have been civil war. Not might have, would have. Just look what happened when Williams backed one side in the slightest. Instant civil war. We were the only one who recongized this at all, and President Williams led to the death of a quarter of a million Americans with his blindness.

Not only that, but president Williams led to the deaths of many, many innocent American with his total war on the south, and for that, he will surely go to hell. And if a man who cannot be with god in heaven, than how on earth can he be President?

((Well like spitefire said before, he didnt know what year we were in when he made his character, so maybe we should let him change his birth date to fit in with what we have so far. We cant really just shove him out of here for not knowing))

Mr Walsh, how exactly would you go about reconstructing the South after the devestation brought about by President Williams? Would you punish the Southern People like has been said by many radicals in Congress, or would you work with them and reintegrate them into our society like myself and Senator Howard have proposed?

As a man of the South, and son of a Great Southern Legend, I will support whoever can best restructure the South as its old self, while at the same time purging the love of Slavery, and the fervency of secession.

I assure you Mr. Davis that I will do everything in my power to prevent casualties however I have been instructed by my government to stop your rebel fleet. I can not promise you that there will be no casualties, for this reason I implore you Mr. Davis not to evacuate the people to Cuba but into Union territory(I can provide an escort.) Where they would be safe.

Senator Jamous, I have no intention of punishing innocent people. However, I would pass an amendment to outlaw publicly talking about secession anywhere in a way which does not condemn it. If this law is breached east of the Mississippi, those breaching it will not be allowed to be in this country east of the Mississippi. They will be granted forty acres of land in the US west of the Mississippi if they do not wish to emigrate. If they live west of the Mississippi they will be barred from entering this country.

Such a proposal, sir, would be a violation of the First Amendment. As much as I hate the treasonous Southerners, I cannot allow unconstitutionality to become law.

I must agree with Mr. Carr here, Mr. Walsh, did we not just fight and win a battle against people who looked to destroy our Constitution? It would make no sense to do the same thing as they did, just to punish them.
