Shouldn't your own site be in the resources section? :D ???

Each tool of Lord Ederon can be found at: http://www.ederon.net
The addresses supplied in main post of this thread are outdated.

A not too uncommon question is about Windows XP and searching the files with all types of extensions, like eue, csv etc. Here's some help:

You're right, but I induce WindowsXP to search within these files. Check these links:
XP search problems
Enable XP's "Search" to find text in files.

This VB Script allows to search within files with extension specified by you.

The link to the event editing tool is dead - does anyone have a copy?

I'm on something like pg. 300 of a new set of events for BYZ and it's been slow going - I see someone's created a tool like that - and then it's nowhere to be found - alternatively, if anyone knows a language that would be easy to program a new version in, i'm game.

jay.

Well, Coder's Eventer (mentioned above) seems to be a reasonable viewer... and if you wanted to write an editor, then either Coder's or Chad/Recessmonkey's parsers would probably be a good start.

Could somebody add IDLF's AI Bible to the list, it seems Havard is no longer active. Took quite a search to find that gem.

Dead?

The no population limit-link is dead :(

It is still possible to patch it manually following these directions.

Well, yeah, but doing so only sets pop to a fixed 10.000.000, without further growth. So I go from 999.999 people to 10.000.000 in a month, and without any ability to grow further.... Am I doing something wrong? I followed the instructions to the letter :(

10 000 000 is 10 times bigger than 999 999, so it should take a lot more than a month to grow that big. Or you could set the limit to 20bcbe4c for 100 000 000.

Regardless, I don't think this is the thread to discuss this in.

I think all the ID map links are dead now.

Does anyone have them?

Something like this one? (Sadly I can't remember who made it - information would be appreciated.) Or is it too big? Or was it seazones you were interested in?
