VIP - Leaders

[Generalisimo]

It has become permanently now. I think I made a mistake. Well, I am not bother about it as long as it doesn't affect the game.

Well, i have my Win2k in spanish here, but i will try to explain it anyway, to remove the permanent change that you did to that type of file you have to:
(the names may vary, i am making a real time translation )
Enter in "My PC"
Select from the menu "Tools"
Then go to the last option "Folder options"
Then select "File Types"
There you will find all the types of files registered into your machine.
Just look for the name of the file that you want to change (for example "File .CSA") and erase the entry.
That will remove the association between an extension and a program.
Be carefull, this change will also be permanent.

i have some ideas for leaders for the Sikh Punjab, the Sikh armies were mostly trained by Europeans and i have the names of 2 Europeans.
Hurbon was a Spaniard and Moulton was a Frenchman. These would make good leaders for the Punjab. There is no way i know their death dates, but they probably escped the Punjab after the British finally defeated the Sikh's.

These are the best i've done, i've done others, most work and look alright, these look the best...some aren't the proper sizes though, but they work alright and don'y look wierd, only a little under or over the usual leader pic size..

well i only came upon those two men becuase i had a book about conflicts between 1815 and 1845 odd, but they don't mention much about the Indian armies etc, so i'm afraid i can't help much in that respect.

actualy i came about this one as a fluke..his name was Ranjit Singh and he commanded the Sikh armies for at least 40 yearsm how ever he died in 1839, so he'd only be in the game for around 3 years etc.

I can probably find some more.

Note a limitation though ,by 1850 the BeiC had most of India under control ,and so obviously it's hard to find leaders for Indian minor's after that date ,unless youre going to count in Indians in Brittish service ,of wich there were quite a lot and often they were good leaders to.

Btw the above resource is a great one for Punjab's history in the 19th century ,best i could find ,it has whole sections on the times of trouble's in Punjab. (notably after the Time of Ranjit Singh where many Punjabis began to fight eachother for a bid on rulership ,wich was partly origin to punjabs demise)

Might be interresting to include a set of events for that ,afterall withought these makes playing Punjab much easier than it historicly was.

i'm willing to write these events myself and submitting them to the VIP team for moderation if needed ,because of my AAR i have read a lot on Punjab's history in that time.
