Unable to post with emoji

I'm no longer able to post a comment with emoji inserted via text editor. When posting, the server returns 406 status code. I can still use character to represent an emoji (e.g. :<space>P for smile with tongue") and it posts and displays correctly like so-

It works around half the time for me.

It doesn't work unfortunately. Copying and pasting text with emojis doesn't paste the emoji itself.

It's not just that. I am unable to update an old post with a new link. Has never been an issue before.

It definitely seems related to emoji's. I can't reply to a post with an emoji in it, but if I edit the emoji's to their text based equivalent, it then posts okay.

I use the Brave browser.

Ya its definitely doesn't work with emojis unless you use text.
