5th Play: General Vasil prepares Bulgarian Air Force

Germany sent our country the doctrine of air mastery.



Vasil Boydev begins the research of air mastery doctrine.



Vasil Boydev is a serviceman in Bulgaria. Total commander of Bulgarian air force in 1939. Chief of the general staff in 1941.

In rising of world scene tension, he thought launch and maintenance of Bulgarian air force will bring advantage to neighboring countries.

As a result of request of General Vasil Boydev, Germany sends blueprints concerning air force to Bulgaria.



The developed manufacturing machine will be completed soon.



In September 1937, surplus goods increase by a factor of 1.5.



In November 1937, CBSA began research of the initial type bomber.



In 1938, the policy of Bulgaria was to overpower the neighboring countries by Military buildup. Hawkish.

 
6th Play: Dissatisfaction rising

Vacil thought that close air support plane is kernel and all of a Bulgarian air force.

All of the research material having been brought by Germany suggested the importance of the air support in the land battle.

The aspect of battlefield changes completely. He was convinced. Only thing he worried was training of pilots.

He did not meet a man who could feel the wind. The future was still in the fog.

In a hawkish political situation, training of Bulgarian Mountain division starts.



Everyone hoped for "Strong Bulgaria". At that time, they hoped certainly so. They have not understood what waits in the destination.

In severe life, people's hearts of iron was becoming hot...



In March 1938, Austria surrenders to the threat of Germany and is annexed.



The world was frightened because of gaining power of a hawkish nations and their ill-mannered behavior. The international society was making it lawlessly. At the same time, at least now, it was proof of that Bulgaria was walking on the right path.

Excessive heavy labor caused strikes. Bulgaria was walking on the road to the violence machine.



CBSA begins the development of the close air support plane on lieutenant general Vacil's instruction.



A national dissatisfaction degree exceeded 10% in August, 1938.



Because of painful days, people began to have the doubt in the thorough armament enhancing plan of the government.

Very nice AAR, but you should do something about the swastika on that Stuka.
 
Sure, no problem. And accidentally showing a swastika or two is such a common mistake that it's almost an AARland rite of passage :)

Actually your job covering it up on the Stuka was really well done. Subtle so it isn't distracting. So keep up the good work!
 
Thank you very much. I gain the power to go on... I suppose there is a little change of atmosphere between the beginning and recent... but I will not care much about this :) I'm going on! Thanks again for your feedbacks.
 
7th Play: Germany begins invasion

CBSA completed preparation for system of production of close air support plane.



Start the production of close air suport plane.



National dissatisfaction degree cannot be raised any further. Therefore, the slider is standing army in 1939.



Germany annexes Czech. An international tension had come immediately before failure.



Italy does the declaration of war Albania. The tension of Balkan rises at a dash, too.



Alliance countries also forms the military alliance. Tension of the international society were reaching the peak.



A large-scale strike occurred.



The aircraft is disposed for the first time. However, the pilot's training has not advanced at all.



Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. Hitler threatens Poland this time.



Germany invades Poland.



Hungary participated in the Axis.



The avenue of trade with Germany was obstructed in the war. Therefore, various resources showed a loss.



Winter War outbreak.



The tension popped to became violence. The world began to be wrapped in fragrant of gunpowder.
 
8th Play: War comes suddenly

1940. The slider is standing army.



Germany does the war declaration to Norway and Denmark.



Rare resources are too little.



Raise the friendship degree of Romania to import rare resources.



It is absurd ...



Germany invades France through Benelux countries.



Italy participates in the axis.



Paris surrender.



Axis territory extending.



Romania participates in the axis.



The trade route revived because Romania had joined the alliance.



Italy does the war declaration to Greece here suddenly. Greek army invades Bulgaria.



Embarrassing Italy !
 
9th Play: What are you doing, Italy ?

The aircraft of just disposition flies away to the front.



The offensive of a Greek army is intense. Are reinforcements in time?



The combat starts at the city Gorna Dzhumaya (present Blagoevgrad) in mountainous district.



The root of this city is an ancient settlement emerged on the site around 300 BC . The settlement was known for the hot springs in the vicinity.



The first air raid.



Overwhelming inferior.



It buys time by the flank attack (yellow).



Is the effect of the air raid a little?



Reinforcements are made to withdraw one after another by the enemy. The progress of a battle is bad.



Reinforcements got under the wire. The prevention of penetration succeeded.



However, Italian army that did the war declaration did nothong !



Interdiction attack works better ?



The counteroffensive preparation is completed. Greek should regret having invaded Bulgaria.

10th Play: repeating seesaw

Standing army in 1941, too.



Begin counteroffensive.



The invasion is stopped by level 5 fortress.



Salonica (present Thessaloniki) is the second city in Greece.



Many churchs and ramparts of the east Roman Empire age remain.



Because it doesn't surrender easily, change the policy to the siege (red to yellow).



My army is made to withdraw by the counteroffensive of a Greek army... It is necessary to bomb more deliberately.



Germany did the declaration of war declaration to Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia joined the alliance.



Axis exploits Yugoslavia and Greece.



After seesaw is repeated, Italy advances. We leave it to Italy for a while.

11th Play: Oil exhausted !

In March 1941, Germany was invading Yugoslavia.



East Europe fell under rule of the axis (red), and the axis' destination was becoming only Soviet Union (yellow).



Bulgaria used oil completely. The continuance of the combat was difficult.



The staff office in Bulgaria thought. "The nearest oil is us !"



However, possession war potential of Turkey was twice of Bulgaria. There was no winning chance.



The method devised by the staff office was a research and disposition of the fieldpiece.



Thus, the preparation for the game against Turkey was started.



Oil is used without permission !?



Though allies exhausts oil... What can I do about this ?



In August 1941, Germany does the war declaration against the Soviet Union.



Production of fieldpiece doesn't start. It seems severe to do the war declaration to Turkey now.



Can our Bulgaria win Turkey which has twice the army?



Close air support planes of the last hope is oil cutting. Can we fly them again?



We Bulgarian government is waiting for advice of everybody. Please put a message to this bbs or send to @weed_nwn.

There's reason to hope for an offer of free Oil resources from Germany once your stock runs out! Or you can negotiate a bulk amount of Oil from Germany, Romania, or perhaps Venezuela in exchange for Energy or another good you have in excess. A temporary measure until you can get Baku, or Iraq! =) You can also reload as Germany and get it to reassign its divisions in Bulgarian territory as expeditionary troops, so that you can move them out yourself and they stop draining oil. in Good luck, and don't give up hope! The delicious Turkish cuisine is waiting!
