I am new to running mods on HOI1. I have tried several times to load TGW but I keep getting an excel error after it is all loaded and I click the icon to start.
Anyone else have this problem?

TGW has its own way of being installed.
Check the installation instructions. Some advice: you need a FRESH (ie brand new) install of HoI, patch 1.06c and you need to remove some files that are listed in the read-me.

Did you made it on a new install? Did you remove the files the read-me ask you to delete?

I tried to make a direct copy of the message but could not
When I double click on TGW icon on the desktop I get a blue box that says
Critical Error

--Do you still want to continue
Abort Retry Ignore
Nothing I try works.

I had the same exact problem today as well. I would really like to play this mod until 1914 is ready for HOI2....
