The 1869 Protests and Downfall

1869 was a year where all across the Prussian Empire people were taking to the streets and protesting against the ruler of the Empire, Duke Gumic, opposing his views and his beliefs, sick and tired of the outrageous taxes and mistreatment of the common folks. The Prussian military was put into action to quell any "violent" protests, usually being the ones starting the violence, as they killed over 24,000 people. Throughout the protests, at least 60,000 people were killed, and a further 211,790 were injured, and the Prussian Embassy in Stalingrad was destroyed.

Duke Gumic prepared himself for a public speech, and as he was giving his speech, an unnamed and unknown man stepped through the crowd, pulling out a military regulation pistol, and firing five rounds. Gumic fell to the floor, dead, and the assembled crowd broke out into a panic, screams rising in the air. The gunman was killed on the spot as the soldiers on guard opened fire. Several months went by, and the Empire was still without a leader, and many of the occupied lands were growing restless, and demanding their independence.

Taking the Empire's situation to its advantage, the Hungarian Principality, ruled by Prince Alexander XI, declared war on the fragile Empire, claiming to be freeing the oppressed people of the Empire. Before the Prussian Empire could even react, their lands were effectively cut in half as the Hungarian forces marched north, towards Russia, and south, towards the occupied Ottoman lands, leaving the Prussian Empire effectively split into the west and east, much like back in 1836. Seeing that the Empire was fragile, the Russians declared war upon the Empire, and its armies surged south, looking to become a large power once more.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Spain was defeated by the Spanish Empire, which took over all of Spain's lands. The Spanish Empire was not too friendly with the Prussian Empire, and also declared war on the Empire, marching into France and Italy, conquering both within a matter of weeks. The trio of Russia,New Spain and Hungary were fast approaching the capital of Berlin, and many were calling this the downfall of the Prussian Empire.

World Map 1869.

India had managed to stabilise itself, and had a firm hold over its lands, and looked set to be a major player in the World order. The Great British Empire had long diminished, and was now a far weaker and far smaller power in the world. The United States had finally ended its war with the Prussian Empire, now focusing on trying to reunite its own lands, and destroy the revolters(as they officially saw them as) in the south. The Mexican Empire was fast approaching the United States, keen to use the Civil War to its advantage.

Stalingrad? In 1869?

And the Spanish fairly much appear to be gobbling up the world.

It looks like an exciting game in your world - the AI when I play is never this volatile!
