Are there certain settings for the skeleton binding? Whenever I modify a base game model even the slightest (I detach the skeleton first) and rebind them together animations look all jank. Most obvious and annoying problem is that it seems as though the skeleton isn't binding to the pelvic region so whenever the model does push ups the pelvis stays put. Some smaller issues (yet still noticeable) are the morphing of the arms, head, and legs during motion.

These are the bind skin options I am using when binding and skinning our characters:

Remember you have to select the mesh and the root joint (highest in hierarchy) when binding it.

Thanks for your response. I tried this, but the problem persisted. I also imported another HoI4 model, didn't modify it, detached the skin, and then rebound it using these options. It also didn't work, with the same problems. I am using Maya 2015, and where yours has "Bind Skin" mine only has "Smooth Bind." They give the same options but maybe it has something to do with it.
