The CoA for Rus in-game shows a bear wielding an axe of some sort. Does anyone know if this is authentic?

Probably not. Check out Gratianus' CoA mod, he replaced the Rus coat of arms with a more czarist style coat of arms (double-headed eagle).

I don't think so, since Kiev is already in the game as a principality and has the Kievan COA (the starfighter-looking thingy). CK doesn't deal with the Russians (or the Muslims, or the pagans, probably) too well.

EDIT: It's some kind of ahistorical united Russian state, rather than the looser OTL confederacy.
