North African Alliance was created when several rebellious Italian generals started a revolt in Italys colonial possessions in Africa. Now NAA is official country with a decent army, vast manpower reserves and capable industrial strength. But future isnt all rosy to these newcomers. Iberia across the Gibraltar is hungry to restore the former glory of Spain, Egypt to the east is as dangerous as 5 thousand years ago and both Republic of Liberia and Empire of Nigeria are just waiting for right moment to strike. And Italy is not too happy with recent events in her former colonies, either.

North African Alliance done, thanks EvilSanta !
:D

Tibet Surrounded by aggressive neighbours the peace loving peoples of Tibet have turned their mountain fortress into the land of the fighting Bhuddist monks! In fact Tibet now feels confident enough to export their peace loving ways to the world - even if the world is not ready for them! Strategic and tactical skill are needed for the Peoples of Tibet to triumph.

Tibet is done, thanks therev !
:D

Egypt: Egypt has, in one way or another, been an important power on the world stage. Under the influence of the Napoleonic conquest, the current French leaders have seen this budding land as a potential contender in Africa and Arabia. They are surrounded by countries who differ with Napoleonic Egypt, but the Egyptians wish to differ with them.

Egypt is done, thanks Herr Neko !
:D

Confederate States: Born out of dispute with its predecessor union, the Confederate States of America has now become a dominant figure in North America. Meddling from the International Community helped it to be established as a legitimate country, but further meddling halted the dreams to dominate the eastern seaboard at Washington. With the Texan seperatists to the west and the lingering Republic to the north, The Confederate States must drive forward dominate the Americas, and damn those abroad who would try and stop them!

Brazil: A conglomeration the portugese colonies and some of the former collapsed powers, Brazil now takes centre stage of the South American theatre as its largest performer. Bordered by the Gran Columbia to its northwest, the Peruvian mountain men to the west and the Argentinian cattlescum to the south, all our borders seem to poke and prod. A grand show it will be when war comes to Brazil, but can its immense borders stand amongst all enemies at once?

Columbia: The shaky Gran Columbia of the 19th century was shaky at its best but the growing powers of the world kept reality in check to those who would try and break away. Columbia now controls the only land gate between the north and south americas, and the canal itself that connects the great oceans. A strategic position indeed, but a dangerous one from any with ambitions of control. Stuck between the growing powers of the Americas, columbia must keep its diplomacy intact and fight on as few fronts as possible.

Guanxi Clique: The provinces around the city known as Canton had always developed itself as seperate to china by culture and language, especially with French colonialism. The French have since left but that doesn't mean Guanxi must now grovel to any of the mandarins! Guanxi now looks to expand its borders under its sphere of influence, specifically into the inferior chinese cultures to the north and the gulf of tonkin to the south. Cantonese culture and strength should prevail over inferior nationalists, yunnanese opium dealers and siamese freaks that would threaten to bring down all she has built.

Peoples China: The enemy of the proletariat is clear, all those who are not under her! Surrounded by dogs who would seek to destroy her superior ideals and purely equal citizens People's China must not only defend her borders at all costs, but bring the pure ideals and educate the poor masses in the capitalist systems that surround her. Onward with the revolution, in all directions charge!

Obviously these could be improved i'm just making a base.

They read great, good job !!
Much appreciated, now Confederates States, Brazil, Columbia, Guanxi Clique and Peoples China are now done !
:D

Well writers this means we are 2/3 done with only 17 country descriptions left.

:)

The Phillipines: Following the napoleonic wars and the collapsing of all other colonial powers, the phillipines have finally had a chance to claim their own Independence. But since when does independence stop at home. Powers in the region would again threaten the phillipines own right to exist, and must take action. Pacific Fire would threaten with their navy, while the former colonies Indonesia and Australia to the south have their own vested interests and may seek to expand northward after one decimates the other. The chinese warlords and siam may also have an interest in controlling the Phillipines as a base to attack each other. The Phillipines is at the centre of vying powers, so she must play a game of diplomacy while preparing for war.

Afghanistan: Afghanistan has always been a region hard to conquer, and was never fully submitted by any of the great powers. However the tone of battle must change for the Afghan peoples. Now the battle shall fly forward, to all that surround her. Afghanistan must no longer rely on resistance to invaders, but become the invader, and fly forward and onward to bring true dominance to this region under the best warriors. Persia to the west will fall as quickly as it did to Alexander, Tibet to the east will know the true meaning of peace and humility, India to the south shall crumble under its own hedonistic might, and turkmenistan to the north will feel the full force of pain as it is struck from beneath!

Peru: The Andes have been the birth of the real south american civilization. The Incan heritage of conquest and power lives on through the modernised nation. The Peru-Bolivian confederation only lived on because of the huge powers that surrounded her, but now is cemented forever together. Numerous border wars have left her in somewhat of an overextended position. Facing a war to any number of the other three powers of South America, Peru must tread lightly, but burst down on any that gets in her way. From down the mountains Peru will be the dominant one, as she has before, and will forever more.

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia first came to the world stage after the Franco-Ottoman War in which it split from the ottomans influence and consolidated its borders. The discovery of rare new resources brought foreign interest to the new Arabian country, while profiting the world it damaged the Arabian peoples, and the Sauds came to power to drive foreign merchants out, but keep their equipment. The Sauds since, have modernised the country and brought it to a standard in which it can even face off against the belligerant powers against it. With its back to the sea, can Saudi Arabia compete in the new wars for the middle east?

Republic of Liberia: The slave trade of africans was widespread across the world, and impossible for those freed slaves whoever wanted to return to find any root in the land they were torn away from. This was the purpose of Liberia, to be a home for those who wanted to return. But it has since become a power willing to go further forward. The Mali have already succumbed to the true power with those out for vengence, the Nigerians to the east look a ripe target, and the north african alliance will be too distracted with the wars against the colonial powers to notice a quick strike. In any case, the sins of the past against Liberian peoples will be revenged against any and all who helped or stood by. Vengence is power, power is Liberian!

Ukraine: The Ukraine has been an important centre between the east and west, and Kiev itself is the traditional heart of the russians. However the modern world treats the Ukraine with contempt. Its size is small enough to be targeted but never enough to be conquered. The Ukraine now stands at a crossroads, with inevitable war coming, choices must be made. Russia which hems the north and eastern borders will inevitably clash with us, but is foolish enough to fight all at once, so spoils must be quick to gain. The romanians to the south-west threaten us at controlling the black sea. And the Poles to the west, consolidated with dominating the lithuanians and belorussians hold our ukrainian peoples hostage and they must be freed, but at an appropriate time that is not yet ours. In any fortune, Ukraine must lash forward against the waning powers that surround her and secure itself as overseer of the black sea.

heh, would help if i could see a map of kongo/korea since all the pics are from like august.

Phillipines, Afghanistan, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Republic of Liberia and Ukraine are now done !

Pictures of Kingdom of Kongo and Greater Korea

The Empire of Siam was the last bastion of indochina to remain independent of foreign interests. Invading british malaya and the burmese shan states, they were able to absorb cochinchina and cambodia into their empire through purchase and military might. However all is not secure in siam, Yunnan to the north still controls most of Laos and Annam, and would not hesitate to move into siam proper! That is if the cantonese guanxi do not push through them first and think about trying to take us! Not to mention india and indonesia would not hesitate to move into the former british possessions. Siam stands between great powers, however her front lines are well defined, and a smart general can exploit them. It may be possible to have siam fight a many-fronted war, but the empire needs a steadfast leader.

Greater Korea has managed to stay independent of Japanese invaders and even push her back to the primorsk lands. But that is not to say Japan is the only enemy of Korea. Mongolia is mighty and shows itself thus, they may seek to claim the empire they never created. Japan stews on its islands, waiting for an opportunity to expand into asia, and Korea stands directly in the way. Peoples china sits and screams maniacal political views at us, but Korea would be naive to expect the bite to be any less as sharp as the bark. Korea will prevail though, the balance of Ying and Yang brings forward a Greater Korea, and one that will only continue to be as great!

The Nigerian Empire sits in what would look like an unimportant position, only barely brisking the borders of countries that would concentrate their efforts elsewhere. And that is the best position it could ever be in! To strike at the underbelly of the North African Alliance, or Egypt while they are off fighting distant wars would lead to devastating victories for Nigerian expansion. Ethiopia may mount a defense, but there Nigerian bravery can prevail. The Liberians lock horns, but their talk is cheap, and Nigerian arms are more than matched for petty slaves, let them come if they dare. The Kongolese sit in their jungle hideaways and would not dare to show face to face! Nigeria is too mighty for any too take notice, and Nigeria will take this notice to them at the end of the gun!

Persia has always been a land of great civilisation and expansion. Alexander may have defeated a persia long ago, but the new persia is new and should be dominants of the middle east. Persia has laid its independence for hundreds of years, and in that time not much has changed. But now is the time for change, new weapons, new ideals, new warfare, now is the time for a new persian empire! The ottomans to the west are a dwindling empire, a sign of the old order and their time has long expired. Turkmenistan looks to show its muscles, but muscles are nothing in the face of persian guns! Afghanistan speaks as if they were the greeks themselves, well then perhaps its time for a true revenge. And the Saud's across the red sea are weak enough prizes. The Persian empire had left its mark on the ancient world, and now it will leave the new world scorched!

Romania is a nation. Those words in themselves bring joy to the small republic, after centuries of hungarian, russian and ottoman oppression, being a free independent nation would almost seem enough for the small republic. If only that were true. There are still romanians left under foreign rule, and romania can never be in a position to be invaded again. The Ukraine to the north stands steadfast, but is nowhere near invincible. The Austro-Hungarian empire holds our true romanians that must be liberated! The Yugoslavians pathetic dreams for a pan-slavic state may bring them in contention with us, and must be culled. The ottomans and greeks both see themselves as rulers of bulgaria, but will never take hold of the sovereignty of Romania. Independent Romania will stay that way, and be forever great.

Yugoslavia is a dream of what could be. That is, a state for all slavs to be united under one banner, and one leader! Unfortunately many have stood in the way of our rightful progress! Greece sits beneath and seeks to annex more rightful slavic lands. Romania sits to the east and despises Yugoslavias existance. Italy looks on and drools at the dalmatian coastline. But the largest purveyor of filth is austria-hungary. They sit on croatia and slovenia and mock Yugoslavian claims. If it weren't for the trade guilds power they would have tried to take all slavs completely. Let them come, Yugoslavia will show them the true meaning of slavic pride, and take all lands rightly belonging to her

The Kingdom of Kongo was once the hardest place in the world to get into, or at least get out of alive in the same trip. Since the devastating slave trade and the returd, the hardened peoples from the jungle have adopted a more modern style of life, industry and most of all warfare. Now united under King (INSERT NAME), one of their own, the Kingdom looks to expand its rightful borders. The most likely candidate would be the Empire of Opar, stretching down the totality of the eastern border. They may have evaded the slave trade, but they'll be damned if they ever get through the Kongolese that easily. South Africa to the south is an insult to all africans, an english depository that must be eradicated from this continent if it ever were to be pure. The Nigerians to the north must not be ignored, as their ambitions are not missed by our eyes.

South Africa is now the land of the exiled english. Napolean may have decimated England but never did it destroy the spirit of the English! Now this spirit is channeled into the barbaric lands of Africa. In their southern Bastion they know hold the line against the african peoples. Then again, to advance into their lands would not be too difficult. The Kongolese still reel from the slave trade industry, both in their country and in their spirit. The empire of Opar resents our presence as much as any, but resentment will not beat the might of the arms of South Africa. Glory will be obtained for all those who go out to seek it!

Turmenistan grew from the east-west trade links since the dawn of time. Many invaders have come through these lands and all have left or been killed. The troubles of the turkic people are not yet over, united as they may be. Kazakia to the north may not be recognised by any other country but that makes them no less ferocious. Afghanistan and Persia to the south have been nibbling away at Turkmenistan over the years, of course sanctioned by foreign powers, their time will come to pay their rightful dues. And to the east and west, Mongols and Russians respectfully stand positioned in attempt to flood Turkic lands with troops. Let them all come, and see the true power of the beast to be unleashed.

The United Provinces of America have stood on the thinnest points of the great American continents, and it is a perilous position that keeps the shaky Union together. Mexico to the north west may serve us well, as they will be distracted with other wars further up with Texas and California, who would each pose a perilous position if they defeated mexico. Columbia to our south west not only deserves to cede the canal, but deserves attention to prevent them charging into Union lands, or intervening in carribean possessions. The confederate states and texas in the same light will also attempt to interfere in carribbean control. This is a perilous position if any country were to take control of the americas, but an even better position to advance forward into either continent.

United Provinces of America

When the men & women of the area wanted independence in 1836 although the UPA (was USCA) had few men to deal with it, dumb luck and the skill of the troops saved them. Also, with some people dealt with extremely harshly the message was NOT to rebel or they could face the same fate and from then on the people remained quiet and very civilised which was an upturn for the economy. When the USA expanded in to Texas and the other regions due to requests of the UPA they sent over alot of heavy equipment to create an industry, and end a life of agriculture. Then, when the war with Spain began over the Carribean began, the UPA took a primary part in it and as a result was granted Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and the other islands east of it, while to make up for this the USA bought the Bahamas.

Soon, in Colombia there was a very nationalist feeling in the provinces of Medellín and Bogotá and after a long struggle, a see-saw motion where the rebels made gains in the undefended areas, and then a troop of about 2500 colombians went in and secured it and attacked the rebels and then a repeat of it somewhere else until it was too much and then they proclaimed themselves the Republic of Bogotá. It was hard going for the rebel nation so they were offered to join the United Provinces of America in return for extra rights (for joining the nation) and war veterans to have first place on requirement lists so they then gladly accepted it. Then in a sale for more land, the nation bought for 5,250,000 in pounds sterling the province of Mérida.

Ever since these imperialistic actions, they decided to remain neutral, keeping a low profile so as not to stir a hornets nest. Everything has remained calm, at least until now.
