Nine years after the start of the Sartosa pirate invasions, the time has finally come to fight Captain Fortunata over control of the last Siren Islands that are not under the control of Pirate Prince Berto. 180 ships and 6000 pirates take part in the invasion. Fortunata's pirates try to defend their islands, but the overwhelming strength of Berto's forces destroys them in every encounter, while the pirate ships quickly seize the islands' ports. The war continues for another year, after all Fortunata's pirates are eradicated from the interior of the islands, hiding in caves and dense forests.
After the conquest, Berto goes to Isla Colina where a rebellion was taking place, are quickly defeated, further increasing the control of Sartosa pirates on the island. In Enriquillola, Berto's eldest son, also named Berto, is made Pirate Lord of Nacary Isles at age 20, an inexperienced pirate, only time will tell if he will be respected by his father's pirates.

A few years later, a minimally decent government, speaking of pirates... is organized in the Siren Islands, and one more of Berto's sons is made Pirate Lord of the islands, Donato, only 16 years old, still has a lot to prove, the boy suffers from a rare condition where one of his eyes has turned completely white, giving him the ability to have a gaze considered hypnotic by many.
Pirate Lord Donato of Siren Isles
Not even two years pass, and Sartosa's pirates get bored again, even free to sail the seas and look for riches, the pirates prefer the invasions organized by the Pirate Prince Berto, in which the spoils are bigger and easier to get . Therefore, the Pirate Prince declares an invasion of the Isles of Tripolana ruled by the Corsair Lady Randja, off the coast of Araby, southwest of Sartosa.
After years in Corsair Strand, Berto commanding thousands of pirates tries to dominate the last island in the region, the Island of Fyrus, of the small Baron Ancel d'Aubigny, this island had been conquered by the bretons in the Great Crusades, 500 years before. Berto surprised by the ferocity of the Breton knights, who manage to organize themselves with almost 5,000 soldiers in Fyrus, the Knights of Our Lady of Battle sail to Fyrus to help Ancel repel Berto's pirates. The Pirate Prince decides not to attack the island and return to Sartosa, realizing that it would be too difficult, costly or even impossible to dominate the Isle of Fyrus at the moment, he meets his first defeat, even without a single battle.
After suffering this defeat, in order not to destabilize his authority in Sartosa, Berto decides to organize thousands of pirates under him again, and leaves for the west, plundering coastal cities in Estalia. Berto and his ships arrive by surprise at the port of the capital of Cantonia, and quickly take the port, and with little difficulty take the gates of the city walls, the population suffers from the terrors that the pirates impose on every commercial establishment or the people themselves who are taken by surprise. Deeper in the city, the castle is invaded, King Fernando is captured after all members of his personal guard die against the pirate horde that entered the royal residence; he and many other local people are taken to the pirate ships, and made for Sartosa, where they will be sold into slavery, or waited to be sacrificed to Stromfels.
After the terror caused in Cordobra, the pirates continued towards the west, then plundered Villana, Jávea, Califerne and ended up in Olissipo, where Queen Melisenda of Obregon was captured. At this point almost half of the pirates had been killed in the looting, so, Berto decides to return to Sartosa.
The anarchy to the east is getting worse, the Principality of Myrmidens is being torn apart by orc invasions on all sides. While Norscans terrorize the peoples of the border, cities fall, while the worshipers of chaos destroy and loot what they can, while taking advantage before having to face the hordes of orcs increasingly dominant in the region.
The Pirate Prince profits from the chaos, so much looting is done, mainly in the ancient great cities of Myrmidens and Khypris. Berto's ultimate goal is to try to enter Barak Varr with his pirates, but his attempt ends horribly. Barak Varr's dwarves repel pirate attacks, 1,685 die on the beaches, while only 137 dwarves die at the hands of pirates. The Pirate Prince decides to retreat and return to Sartosa, this defeat would be enough for the corsairs. Still, a large amount of looted wealth is brought to Sartosa, enough wealth to fully fill half of the pirate ships under Pirate Prince Berto's command.
