Many new Shortcuts needed - Shortcut Creator Possible?

I wish for New Shortcuts: Quick Save and Quick Load. RNG is a big part of the game. I often find myself reloading my last safe to reset RNG. Keyboard controls for saving and loading most recent save would greatly help.
IMO this is a very basic feature that the game should have since long ago.

EDIT: A Shortcut Creator, as gronak mentioned, would be a great addition! I like the Idea so much, that I changed the title of this suggestion in hopes it would gain more attention. Thank you, gronak!

why restrict the player? especially when it will happen anyway.

1. "Restrict" and "not encourage" are different things.
2. There are way too many GUI elements in the game which don't have shortcut and would deserve to have one more than Save/Load. And number of keys on keyboard is limited.

So why not add a shortcut creator? Then everyone is happy. Let people play however they want.
