On July 11th, Mars Fuhrer Ost was promoted to Space Fuhrer. His new duties would include assigning new leaders to watch over the Moon and Mars, and to go to newly colonized worlds and set up a fully functional base. So far he had been completely successful, the main reason the German Fuhrer Rommel gave him his promotion.
On July 12th, Space Fuhrer Ost lost contact with 1st Mars Infantry, stationed outside the alien gate. Not taking any chances, and telling the scientists to damn their claims that is was static, he ordered the 2nd, 3rd and 5th Moon Armies to be relocated to Mars. With the newly breathable atmosphere, colonizing Mars would become easier because people no longer had to stay trapped inside.
On July 13th, Space Fuhrer Ost sent a team to investigate the disapearance of the 1st Mars Army. When the team reached the location, they found it completly empty. No one would have ever guessed that a army would have been stationed here. As the team was leaving the cave, they spotted a fallen comrades helmet. When it was picked up, it revealed a writing in the sand.
'Aliens, strange weapons, *unledgible word* panzers no match' It abrubtly ended, and buried a little under the sand was the soldiers fingers that were also under the helmet.
The team immediatly reported the findings, and returned to Mars Base.
On July 14th, Himmler oversaw the launching of K-2 and K-3, the second and third nuclear powered U-boots in the Kriegsmarine. It also marked the day the Luftwaffe activated its 1000 Flying Disc.
On July 15th, the German scientists and strategists were stumped, they were confused over 'the panzer no match' sentence from the young boy. Many scientists believed it meant the aliens had weaponry making the Panzer obsolete, while military Generals and designers believed it meant the enemy Panzers were no match. They debat escallated until it was suggested that they ask the deceased soldier's family what they think he would have written.
