which flag for 1950 Greece ?...

First flag has been/is used for the navy.
Second flag is official flag of the country.
The stripes of the second flag (blue and white) represent a moto that translates to "Freedom or death" if for every strip you pronounce the relative part of these words.
And it has been created during independence war 1821 against the Ottoman empire.
I would recommend to use the second since it is the more easily identified by non-greeks.

Sorry to say it but both flags were used at the time. The flag number 1 is considered the "royal" flag and was in use when Greece was still a kingdom. The 2nd flag was designed at 1827 and it as used at the time by the greek navy.

Nowdays after the fall of the dictatorship and since Greece is a republic nowdays only the second flag is used.

The historic facts:
No 1 dates back to the revolution of 1821 when it was the most common of all existing flags.
Gradually it became the flag used in the royal emblem and the land army.
No 2 is also from the revolutionary times,albeit later on. After the independence, it was mostly used in the navy until the 20th century.After 1922 it gradually became the most common flag.
In 1952, it should definetely be No2.

as there is no option in the game to change the flags i have decided from popular demand (+ i cant b bothered to gt the other1 made) that the second1 or modernday flag will be used
