and if paradox dont release cheats thats nothing that trainers and hacks cant fix it (and some of them do work in multiplayer)

It affects me cause the built in cheats ruined the better part of my early eu2 games. I'm human and to easy access to cheating can sometimes be too tempting.

actually once while playing MOHAA I was playing and I typed in the God mode cheat thinking (if only this wold work) and to my surprise it did. I immediantly turned off the cheat allowed myself to be shot ran into my corner and huddled into a ball. It was horrible.
 
90% of fps's let you cheat in multiplayer mode. god mode and the like. its a server variable to allow cheats and its off by default. sometimes people leave it on by mistake after messing around with them :)
 
Why not just edit the scenario file and make all provinces in the world yours? That make the same us as cheating in my opinion...

Search for influence in your savegame, change the number behind it for active diplomats

Search for
diplomatic_efficiency = xxx

here you can change the mutipler for your DI-stat

So if you normally get 4 diplomats per year, and the multipler is on 4 so you get 16 diplomats a year

I use the cheats to enhance my gaming experiance. I play to relieve stress, and if the computer whips my b*tt every time, I stress, and I don't need that at my age and with my job. Plus its no fun to lose constantly.

Those who do not want to cheat, fine, more power to you. Those who do, fine, same thing. ITS A GAME, and its supposed to be fun, not work. HOI was not fun. EU II was fun.

I'm tired, I want to play Texas, but Mexico kicks my hind quarters all over the place. I cannot get extra manpower, money does nothing, and Mexico is invincible.

How can I change this?

what say we not start an argument that has been waged since the dawn of gaming? if you like editing your game to suit your needs, go for it. if you like enjoying the game in its pure form, go for it.

personally, i've found little reason to cheat so far in victoria. however, i'm just starting out and i've stuck mainly to playing top-tier or second-tier nations. perhaps it'll be a different story when i start my "WC as the People's Republic of Tibet" game. ;)

I do have a question. I know that in Victoria the term Neville(?) forces the AI to accept any diplomatic offer you send them, very useful in setting things up early if you want to release a satelite that you may not have the full requirements for as of yet.

Now, I was wondering does anyone know if their is a similar cheat code for the EU II game. I ask because it could be useful in continuing a game from one of the mods, for getting the country to look as it should.
 
I have a solution to the CSA "California Seceeds" question. You have to Enter The US event as the US for it to activate. Just I have the events right here:
(Remember enter as the USA)
