Very odd CTD, it just suddenly happened last night and I haven't been able to fix it. I was playing it fine earlier and then the game hung and after forcing it to close, it would not open again. It is extremely odd cause whenever I tried to run it, the moment the intro music plays, the game stops responding and immediately, starts escalating in chewing up ram. 32gigs ram with another 16-32g of vram, all taken up to 100%. This persists for a few minutes before the game decides to crash. I can provide some logs if anyone could take a peek please?

FYI tried launching without mods too. Had a blank profile and it does the same thing.

If I were you I would reinstall the game from scratch and then try just vanilla to check if it is working. Then, if so, I would add a single mod at a time to check for a possible culprit.

Right click on ck3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.

Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, refresh rate 60.

Is that any better?
