It happened to me with one of the previous versions and the save basically went to trash. Now the game updated to 1.6.1 and my Iroman save is from 1.6.0.1. Of course I can go to beta before playing, but the problem is when I try to change to beta, the only option is to go back to 1.6.0, which is also not safe supposedly. There's no option to go back to 1.6.0.1. Dear Paradox, is there any way to play this game without the constant worry of having dozens of hours of game lost?

Heya Rispektt!

I can confirm that I was able to load your save from my computer without any issues.

From what I can see, you seem to have a couple of mods enabled. As with every update, there is a chance that the changes we've made require the mod authors to update their mods, to make their mods compatible with the game again. Could you try disabling all mods and check if you can load the save again? :)

The issue goes beyond old saves.

I can't even start a new game. The game crashes within months of start EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to play the game.

No mods active. And I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
