AI spamming attacks over impassable mountains. Known bug?

I'm playing Switzerland and Italy is repeatedly starting attacks across an impassable mountain. The game immediately detects it as an illegal attack and cancels it, resulting in the Italians spamming attacks across the mountain every other hour. Is this a known bug or should I report this?

Probably worth reporting if you have a save file of them doing it. The more reports (and save files) they get the easier it is to fix.

I had to cancel my best game ever because of this. Microspam attacks that you're describing kept my best troops trapped in place eternally.

I noticed this as well. They spam every second non stop.
