Signed: AH...it would be much more frustrating to lose the big ship to (gasp) Glorious and its Swordfish
The sinking of the Bismarck won't go unpunished neither!Ahahaha, well, good luck I knew Churchill wouldn't let such a disaster as losing a complete battle fleet go unpunished.
Well...Oh no! It seems you really got them mad this time. Let's hope you won't lose your other SHBB too
Thank you, I think that I made good use of it. :laugh:spoiler in brackets.
You are more knowledgeable than I am. I needed an explanation for the fact that the Tirpitz had been sunk in 2 x 50% (2 hours) by the planes of a single, stinky and outdated CVI.BOOOM omgz, well the day of the Carrier has arrived, convert all large ships to CV!!!!!
Ps. there has been a plate in all smoke stack, that are part of the Citadel of BB's, since Jutland to prevent exactly that problem

The part related to the spark igniting fumes of gas comes from an historical case http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_aircraft_carrier_Taihō
Beagá, please come back! I was kidding! Your prescience got me, you Black Cat!
When I read you a week ago, I knew that you had that feeling. Actually, I had already played that part. Correct, this was mainly for flavor, but I knew that I needed some very strong support for the cargos carrying the invasion troops. In this game, the RN reacts very fast.I had a feeling this would happen. I know you constructed the ships largely for flavour, but I feel it really doesn't make much sense for Germany to build a surface fleet (except a few token cruisers for escort duties) until victory on land has been secured.
Will you attempt to starve Britain with u-boots?
Mooowaaahhhaaahaaa! There must be a revenge- build U-boa- boots! Not only we will starve Britain- we'll step on it! (evil laugh)
Much appreciated, thank you!

Ooops, the plate have just been found in a warehouse in Hamburg. The Abwehr is actively looking for the guy in charge. He will replace one of the new torpedoes. The armour plates in the smoke stacks were installed after some British Dreadnaughts were hit by plunging shells from German ships that went vertically down the the smoke stacks and blew up the ships. The plates prevents any direct unarmoured route into the armoured parts of the ship. This would also prevent a kamikaze British pilot to drop his torpedo down the smoke stack.
Now torpedo protection in German battleships were typically layed out to 300 kg explosives against British torpedoes with 176 kg explosives, maybe there was a design flaw somewhere. Just as the Japanese SHBB were most vulnerable against torpedoes, there is no reason why German SHBB should not have the same problem.
Actually, the British didn't come out unscathed. Small solace."the battle did not change the result on land"
So, a modern Lepanto?
That is an estimate (Intelligence efficiency 27%). And it doesn't include the Commonwealth. I will have to check, but I think that it is more than historically. Also, with the reform of her army, the Italian INFs should be at 2/3 of strength.Only 55-60 divs for UK?So poor...Easy work for duce

Agreed : Submarine warefare against England is very effective.
If they don't want to starve theirs troops in Africa, they have to use a lot of IC for convoy (They are currently doing this in my game in January 1941), wich mean less planes and boats, and no renforcement in Africa.
That is the idea. It may also help the Japanese in the Far East, even if less than previously since the Raj is a puppet country and not part of the UK country any longer.Agreed : Submarine warefare against England is very effective.

Not sure that it will be brilliant, but I hope that there will be a lightning aspect to the campaign. Can't wait for Fall Gelb. I wonder what strategic brilliance will you show off.
