EDIT: Update 17-09-2018 1500 CEST

The fix has been set live to the regular version, so these fixes will be applied to your game if you run on the default version. You can restart Steam to force it to update your version. Savegames should be unaffected and achievement runs won't become invalid from the update.

For Linux users, you need Ubuntu 16.04 to run EUIV for the time being.

1.26.1 Mughals Hotfix Now Available [checksum 7513] - NOT FOR PROBLEM REPORTS

Good day everyone. As we mentioned in our latest development diary, the team are doing their utmost to fix issues that you have kindly reported to us from the 1.26 Mughals Update.

For the more pressing issues which we wanted an prompt fix for deployed, we have created the 1.26.1 hotfix. This is available as an opt-in beta, under "1.26.1 - Hotfix Beta". It aims to fix the following issues in the recently released 1.26 version.

- Fix crash when supporting heir with negative chance

- Fixed a peace treaty crash for players continuing their 1.25 saves

- Fixed Trade Company Investments being lost on tag switch

- Fixed Trade company Crash

- Fixed Crash when stopping Area Rebel suppression

- Fixed Revolutionary Governments losing all reforms and progress. It is now treated like changing government via final reforms.

- Mewar achievement script issue fixed (should be visible if you've formed another nation)

- Fixed theocracies and hordes not getting aristocratic ideas

- Fixed rulers swapping religions back and forth in certain cases

- Fixed Achievements not being available for released nations

- Stopped tight-fisted AI chartering provinces for 0 ducats

- Fixed Adopt Islamic government no longer being available to Indian Sultanates

- Fixed eu4_profiling.exe not appearing in game folder

- Fixed Shogun Capital Move issues

- Fixed Natives losing reform modifiers when reforming religions

- Fixed unlocalized legacy string

- Fixed Local Autonomy raise on estates (should no longer be applied on top of minimum autonomy from the estate)

These fixes are available as a beta which can be accessed in Steam under "properties" and the beta tab for EUIV. From there you can select the "1.26.1 - Hotfix Beta" option. (You may have to restart Steam to see this option).

Our intention is to merge these fixes into the main release version of the game for everyone after a few days (by Monday next week if everything goes according to plan) in beta barring any major issues occurring with it.

If you encounter any issues with the hotfix please post in the bug reports section with [1.26.1] in the title for ease of sorting.

If I'm reading this right, if an estate had a province at, for example, 25% minimum autonomy, and the "underlying" or "real" autonomy of that province was, let's say, 0%, removing the estate would raise the real autonomy to 25%, rather than 50%. If so, that's a helpful change.

Now, still need to fix the (undocumented) 5x loyalty hit when removing an estate.... Perhaps not suitable for a hotfix (unless the fact that it was not mentioned in the patch notes means it was unintentional -- please, please, please), but hopefully it's on the radar screen for reconsideration in 1.27.

Noted will relay this to the devs.

Hey Rod, just letting you know that the link on the EU Facebook post isn’t working (may have already been fixed), and thanks for the quick patch, especially in the case of the Aristocratic ideas :)

EDIT: link is now working

Had to revert back to 1.26 since the 1.26.1 used other c++ libraries then 1.26.

Please open a thread in the Technical Support with some more info. We didn't on purpose change the libraries, might have been something up with the build servers.

Ive already submitted a bug report.

Well Well... The Presidential Dictatorship Bug hasn't been fixed.. sad..

No mention of native councils and plutocratic monarchies having their broken issues fixed either. One certainly hopes those are deemed important enough to hot-fix rather than waiting until 1.27...

Fixed Natives losing reform modifiers when reforming religions

That's great, but reforming religion still seems to give natives exactly the same government as their European neighbor. I don't think an Aztec English Monarchy makes a lot of sense (although an Aztec Prussian Monarchy would be pretty sweet in MP...)
