I'd like too to see what would come out of a Victoria III. But I'd prefer developers to take their time and create something that can stand on its own. I don't think that Victoria III would benefit from having many DLCs.

I don't know if this is the right thread to post this, but I couldn't find any other recent thread about vic3.
Two feature I'd like to see in vicky 3:
-Costumizable ideologies; when the ck3 dev diary about religions came out somebody mentioned that the system could also work for political ideologies in a Vicky/HOI game.
Now,I don't know much about political ideologies during the Victorian period, but I would have four big ideology groups: "democratic","authoritarian","socialist","fascist" these would decide what type of governments your ideology allows and what traits are available.
Individual ideologies would have a set of 4 minor traits and 2 major ones, with minor traits depending on the major traits chosen. These traits would influence the ideologie's stance on various issues, among other things.
-Characters; these would represent all the important people in your state; presidents, monarchs, ministers, powerful business men, generals and so on.Each character would belong to a POP and would have a certain outlook on various issues.
This outlook would be influenced by their ideology, but also by other factors(for example business men wouldn't support lowering the maximum work hours).
I think a system like this would really shine in democratic states, where you could have two candidates from the same party, but with a different outlook on issues.

Basically a giant laundry list of things that went wrong. What was the Cyberpunk 2077 scandal?
Wow, I’ve been so busy with life that AI has no idea any of this transpired...I had even considered buying CP2077.Basically a giant laundry list of things that went wrong.
It had thing like you could shoot a gun, freaking out everyone around you, then do a 360 and everyone disappeared. Or things like how cop cars were just spawned in because the game's driving AI was so horrendous it basically could really drive anything.. Commit a crime? Cops spawn out of thin air and immediately start shooting. And then turn the corner around a building, and the magic teleporting cops couldnt find you.
It also felt very like Night City was rather empty to a lot of players. Fun fact: Gamespot scored it a 7/10 partially for that very reason before release. The Reddit then lambasted the reviewer for it....only for the review to actually be kinder to the game than the reddit post-release.
Or the little thing about saying how they weren't going to do crunch only to end up doing crunch. Note that a lot of the complaints above apply to the PC and current gen consoles.
The PS$ and Xbox One take the above very abbreviated list and basically shit on it when it comes to issues. Do you like crashing because a car spawned literally in front of you? That was happening. You like constant crashes to the system dashboard? No? Well get used to them. AI forgets you exist during combat? Yep. Graphics look like they could have been an even earlier gen? that happened. Worse, they said it did well on past-gen consoles before release. After release, they tried to apologize and offered refunds for the PS4 and Xbox versions. The slight issue issue being that they actually couldn't do that. That stunt got the PS4 version pulled from the PS store and refunds from Sony. You know, the main reason that CDPR couldn't actually offer refunds.
CDPR also knew that the last-gen consoles wouldn't run them well and refused to give codes to reviewers to review those versions.
Hell, it was already turning into a bit of a shitshow before release. Turned out that when one went into what was called a Braindance in game, the headset would promptly rapidly flash a bunch of white and red LED lights as part of the start-up. Unfortunately, that transition scene happens to be rather similar in appearence to a test used to detect epilepsy in patients. Enough so that Liana Ruppert, who got epilepsy after an injury in the military, had a grand mal seizure. FOr those wondering, that is basically where you have violent muscle contractions accross the entire body. This can be very dangerous or even life threatening. So her bosses at game informer understandably send out a PSA about it happening so people know come release to be careful. CDPR promptly throws in a warning about the risk and the day after the release releases a patch that heavily reduces the risk.
The fanbase was at the time of the PSA was still in complete asshole mode where they would attack any and everyone who dared say CP2077 might have something not good about it. So naturally some people decided to start spamming her social media with pictures to try and cause her to have a seizure. Fun fact: In the US, that is an action known as Felony Assault.
Yeah they got Murphy’s lawed hard the only thing that didn’t go wrong was the act of god that screwed up developmentBasically a giant laundry list of things that went wrong.

Yeah, they don't announce until it is ready for presentation (and livestreams).
They said no to any EU Rome sequel (which had equally large hype) years ago as well, but eventually developed Imperator Rome behind the scenes anyway. They probably have something in the work, just not going to announce yet.

Yes, VIC3 confirmed, with Wiz as director.Wiz was a moder for ck2 and Victoria 2 and we know he isn’t lead on ck3 so vic3 confirmed?
CK3 topped the sales charts
I’d rather have Vicky three than eu 5
