NOTICE: Contrary to what you may think, Schizophrenia is not split personality disorder, it is an entirely different mental illness. Individuals with schizophrenia may hear voices that are not there. Some may be convinced that others are reading their minds, controlling how they think, or plotting against them. This can distress patients severely and persistently, making them withdrawn and frantic.

Others may find it hard to make sense of what a person with schizophrenia is talking about. In some cases, the individual may spend hours completely still, without talking. On other occasions he or she may seem fine, until they start explaining what they are truly thinking.

People with Schizophrenia hear voices. Imagine, for hours on end, hearing those voices, insulting you, telling you what to do telling you to kill yourself - every day. Sometimes the voices will talk to each other, they'll discuss you among themselves, as though you weren't there.

People with Schizophrenia become disconnected from everything, and may cease to find any of it enjoyable. Not food, not movies, not games, not other people - nothing can bring you happiness anymore, you're in a wholly different place.

In the Dark Ages, people with Schizophrenia were often shunned and believed to be possessed. You may think I mean "Dark Ages" as in, 450-1000 AD. In truth, I am talking not about the distant past, but the distant future.

In the year 2500, when the liberalism of the 21st century is but a distant memory, people with this mental illness are once again isolated from the general populace and live the rest of their lives alone. But, considering the circumstances, and all the strange happenings, is that so patently absurd?

WEREWOLF LITE CCCII: Schizophrenia

The Rules:

There shall be seventeen (17) players. Special Roles will be handed out after the last person signs up.

The game will then proceed to a Night deadline.

The game is divided into two periods - night and day. For practical reasons these two periods take place at the same time, from one update till the next.
Each day, all players gather and decide to lynch one of the players - the person they think is most likely to be possessed. Each night, the demons decide who to kill. In each 24 hour period, the schizophrenics will lynch, and the demons will hunt. The schizophrenics can try to lynch multiple people by creating a glorious,
Lemeard-approved, TIE, and the demons can also decide not to hunt anyone at all at night.

Winning:

The demons and worshiper win if they manage to reach parity with the patients.(Worshiper does count for parity)
The patients win if they manage to kill all the demons.(Worshiper NOT counting)

Possible Player Roles:

Schizophrenic/Patient(villager): The simplest role, a patient knows nothing for sure, but can use the power of his vote to help lynch others.

Aristocrat(Seer): Has received special medical training. Can scan one person each night to check to see whether he is a demon, worshiper, or a normal patient.

Possessed/Demon(Werewolf): The people this whole place was built to protect against. Each night, the demons hunt a player.

Demon Worshiper(Warlock): While not possessed, this man worships the demons, and wants them to take over. Each night, he can block any other player from using a special role. If he chooses to block the Aristocrat or the Priest, they cannot scan / protect that night. He does not know the identity of the demons at the start. His powers will not block the demons from hunting (unless he blocks the last one standing), in case he accidentally targets one of them. - The worshiper DOES count for parity, but cannot win alone.

Priest(Guardian Angel): At least, that's what he was before being brought here. Each night, the guardian angel can choose to protect someone from an attack. He cannot protect the same person two nights in a row and he cannot protect himself.

Possible Role Set-ups: These are the possible ways roles will be distributed. I will randomly select one set-up; each possibility has an equal chance of being chosen. Once the set-up is determined, it will stay that way throughout the entire game.(It's about time we introduced the newest bunch of newbies to the Ironhead setups)

Fall Weiß
1x Aristocrat
4x Demons
12x Patients

Fall Grün
1x Priest
4x Demons
12x Patients

Fall Gelb
1x Aristocrat
1x Priest
1x Worshiper
4x Demons
10x Patients

Fall Blau
1x Aristocrat
1x Worshiper
3x Demons
12x Patients

Fall Rot
3x Demons
14x Patients

Note on Roleplaying(+additional theme info):

For the purposes of this game, players are encouraged to role-play according to the theme. The violent outbreaks of the recent years have led to increasingly reactionary policies, and eventually, anyone thought to be a threat was jailed. There's no one here but you. The demonic chants you've been hearing came as no surprise, being the people you are. But when patients started showing up dead, even though none of you had any weapons, eyebrows started being raised. Now only 17 remain. Could those people of the government have been right, at least partially? Either way, you can't wait much longer...

The Deadline:

DEADLINE FOR VOTES AND OTHER STUFF IS 21:00 GMT

A vote posted at 21:00 will count. One posted at 21:01 will NOT!
Voting Ends At Deadline Even If Game Moderator Is Not Present!
(Unless stated otherwise by GM)

Other Rules:

§1A. - You sign up to the game by requesting so in a post in this thread.
§1B. - No new players will be admitted after the game has started, EXCEPT if substituting for another player.
§1C. - You may at any time be substituted out by requesting so in the thread.
§1D. - Players are responsible for any Private Messages (PMs) missed due to inbox being full.

§2. - Orders and votes submitted after deadline are ignored.

§3A. – Players will vote daily. Should they not vote, THEY WILL BE REPLACED. There will be no exceptions unless the Game Moderator states otherwise.
§3B. – Invalid votes (Voting for Game Moderator/Ghosts) will not be accepted.
§3C. – In the event of a TIE, ALL TIED players will be executed.
§3D. - The player(s) with the majority of votes at deadline is considered dead. He will not reveal any inside information after the deadline.

§4A. - SPECTATORS AND GHOSTS MAY HAUNT, TAUNT AND FLAUNT, BUT NEVER SUGGEST ANY COURSE OF ACTION OR REVEAL ANY INFORMATION. ANY ACTION WHICH CAN AFFECT TO THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME IS FORBIDDEN. ANYONE CAUGHT DOING IT WILL BE *PERMANENTLY* BANNED FROM PARTICIPATION. NO EXCUSES ARE VALID.
§4B. - When doing ghost/spectator commentary, please use a non-white colour.

§5. - Alliances and Feuds which aren't based on your characters or roles in the game between players are forbidden. Alliances and Feuds which continue from one game to another undermine the whole idea of the game.

§6A. – The Game Moderator has the last word on all matters.
§6B. – If the Game Moderator makes a mistake (e.g. with the vote count, hunt/scan orders), if critical information has been revealed, the mistake will be kept.

§7A. – Forging PMs is allowed. Screenshots of PMs is not.
§7B. - PMs from the Game Moderator are protected by the Official Secrets Act, and MPs are forbidden from showing them in Parliament.
§8. – Voting must be done in the following way. Write "VOTE" and the person you are voting for in bold text. For example:

VOTE EUROO7

If you wish to un-vote someone, write "UNVOTE":

UNVOTE EUROO7, VOTE EUROO8

Votes will count as long as the GM sees them and the intention to vote is clear. Bolding, upsizing, and separating from the rest of the text is common courtesy that helps with the aforementioned requirements.(Allowing the GM to see it, and making your intention clear)

EDITING OR DELETING VOTES AFTER HAVING POSTED THEM IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN THE OFFENDER BEING SUBBED OUT OR AUTOLYNCHED. You can edit vote posts, just not the vote itself.

§9. - The GM can and will remove players if the GM believes the player is not participating at his/her full capacity. This will be done through the use of killing the player's role, or using substitutes, if they are available. All such decisions are made solely at the discretion of the GM. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE GAME IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T PARTICIPATE.

§10A. – Trust no one. Especially not the GM.
§10B. - Always Trust the GM.

This'll be the last of them, though...

Psychosis, Amnesia, Schizophrenia. Something you want to tell us panzer?

The first 2 were just coincidences, but in the end I really liked both so I thought this deserved to be made a real triology, so here it is...

It is the GM that should please the players, not the other way around...
