Duckie was feeling quite unease at seen Käthe smile. He had dreamt for many years for that moment to come, but now he was awfully scared.
-Käthe, let me remaind you of something...
Kathe's grin just widened and said, very softy:
-Yes, my dear?
-... As I was saying (what the fuss? my dear? arf, arf, arf!!!), I've noticed something quite odd when I was on the way here.
-Really? Oh, let me help you with that odd thing -she said, moving her hands towards Duckie's trousers. Poor Duckie couldn't believe his eyes and wondered if Käthe was hidding a knife somewhere...
-Not THAT odd, I mean... !!!! Well, I don't have... Thhat's not you, you see, well, you don't see, I see, but you don't, you don't see, what the fuss I mean?!?!?!?! Käthe, stay still for Peti's sake!
-Peti? Who's Peti?
-No fussing idea, really.
-Is Peti another girl?
-What?
-I can be very jealous at times, you know -she said, all her pretty face showing a great and aflicted expression. Duckie's trousers went down in that very moment, just as his wits ended working. So, he did what he knew must be done. So he rushed and throw the following speech:
-You know what? I had spent all my life waiting for that moment, but, hey, here I am, going to be willingly raped by the most chaming lady and unable to comply. Why? Because I saw a distant light glimpsing on the sky and felt, dunno why, that his going to rain shit over us, and do you know why? When, let me tell you then, you're not being yourself, because you're under some kind of spell. You know why? It's because of the key of...
With a mighty roar Käthe jumped over him. Little Bastard, Duckie's cat, who lay hidden on Duckie's rucksack, was looking at the odd light in the sky that was coming to them, careless about the "terrible" experience that his master was going to "suffer"...
Outside the walls, the SS soldiers were making his way trough the the castle. Finally Heydrich had considered that Kremmler had gone to far. Alàs, it was too late. For the past few weeks, the would-be sorcerer had been working as if he was possesed by a strange will not of his own. Feverish nights had been followed by sunless days in a monotonous rythm that had not, not anymore, any meaning to him. Sunk in the bottoms of the old dungeons of the castle he had "borrowed" from the huge possesions of the SS, he worked endless in breathtaking experiments that may have turn made hundreds of beings but that left Kremmler unmoved.
If he was to be successful, he would be able to open a window of oportunitty that would bring him total success and absolute power. Once the exchange with the Dark Powers had been fulfilled, he would settle accounts with his former master, Reinhard Heydrich, and with the new ones because, what meant to loose one own's soul when he had absolute power and inmortality in him?
Had Kremmler not been so obsessed with his experiment he would have realised that the pentagon he had just drawn was shining in the most peculiar way. Drunk with this dreams of power, of having the Dark Powers withing his grasp, he did not notice the fact.
Then, a small fragment of nothingness appeared in the middle of the room. Then a silent thunder exploded but no one could heard it and a ligthing of unseen light crossed the room. Kremmler blinked in surprised and moved his head to one side, as if trying to balance the world after that unexpected phenomenon. Suddenly he heard a voice that said nothing and that sounded like the hearbeating of a pidgeon battling in the void with his wings. He tasted blood in his mouth and knew the fused carapace of his ribs to be broken. His breathing was ragged, which indicated a punctured lung, and his should burned, but he feel no pain. As the voice went on, Kremmler realized he had failed, but he did not care. The flesh was falling from his bones, and his was loosing his vision as his eyes turned into an ocean of matter, but that did not matter either.
The voice went through him and when it exited his body it was a wall of flesh that hit with unexpected strenght the walls of the castle. Then, it turned into a long sea of britghtest darkness and extended its wings over the world. Reinhard Heydrich was still holding his pen when the wave tore up his heart from his torso. A second later the world crumbled to its inner core and, then...
...then a huge Hand gathered all the the matter of the universe as a child plays with the sand of a bech. When all the matter, the light, the noise and emptiness was gathered in that single point, the Hand took it into a Pocket.
And then the Voice said:
-Enough, Children.
It was the tenth day of the Creation.

Kisses, gentle and ungentle touches, hunger and passion. Duckie had long ago forgotten what he wanted to say and just tried to follow Káthe. And then...
Flop!
The light just hit the world . Little Bastard went down the bed, panicking. Káthe felt odd and then raised his head. Under her he saw a half fearing, half in extasis Duckie, looking at her as a foolish lamb. She sat, half dressed on the bed, and, again, looked at him, amazed.
-What? -Duckie said, a bit bewildered.
-I'm beginning to have a bit of a headache, darling.
-Wh...?
-I'm not in the mood, sorry.
-WHAT?!?!?!?
-After all, I think I'm more keen on girls, you know. Perhaps we'll try, later, later, oh, yes, later on...
Had Duckie known that the wall of light had just changed a bit his world and some neighbouring alternatives, plus destroying another one on the way, he wouldn't have cared much.
-I thank you -she said then-, because you've not tried to press me or anything else...
"I was too scared, shit" -he thought.
-You're lovely -she added, and then she kissed him lightly on the lips-. A pity you're not a girl.
"Would my dad mind if I changed my sex?" -Duckie thought. Then, shacking his head, he admited that he dad would mind. At least a bit. With a sigh, he looked again at the half dressed lady that he had in front of him and wishpered to himself.
-Trekkie is not going to believe me, but... oh man...
Under the bed, a cat grinned.
