The dread of Russian winter....
What the hell is that number under the German Bombers in the penultimate?
Are Germans so afraid that they're insulting the Khan? xD
Our Cavalry Air Strike was beaten by fishing airplanes?
NONSENSE!
This humiliation must be avenged!
(the probable reaction of mongol leaders
)
Those fishing planes are a nuisance! And they keep coming back! Now Mongols need to escort the CAS with fighter interceptor on the same mission to ensure they stick together but with added staking penalties. The Air Calvary will prevail!!!
Some weekend update...

Dec 17th, 1946
Mongols have tear all the way to Ankara thru central Anatolia dividing the German forces into two. First to be annihilated is the northern portion.
Chimid (Chief of Staff): The envelopment is complete with six German divisions trapped.
FM Lyibangryyan (6th Armija): Don’t see any greatness yet from the so called great Fuhrer!! We’re trashing his army! Spare no one!! Attack!!!
Up to eighteen various Mongol divisions attacked from all directions, south, east, west and even from the air!!
The skies are filled with 16 CAS air-wings. It couldn’t be worst for the Germans!
Chimid (Chief of Staff): No chance... They have no chance! If our arrows and bullets don’t get them, the overhead bombs will!
In the battle area of Samsun, the ‘Black’ Sea turns red from the death of 60,000 evil Axis!
Dec 17th, 1946
Mongol power grew and the world try to unite against the cancerous tumor that is spreading feverishly!!
Luvasansara (Head of Gov): Some faraway nation declared war on us. Some El Dorado…
Amar (Head of State): Isn’t that place known as the fabled tales of city of gold?
Nyambuu (Intel): I think you mean El Salvador nested somewhere in Mexico!
Amar (Head of State): Bah!!! Then there is no gold to plunder when we get to them!
Luvasansara (Head of Gov): Doesn’t look like this El-whatever matter!! To us, it is just one nation less to declare war since they already declare it for us!!
Dec 18th, 1946
With main isle of Luzon taken from Philippines, it is time for the next significant island that is teeming with oil-fields! Borneo!!
Lt Gen Irgel (Ogedei Airborne Korpus): Woohooo!!! Here we go again!! This time jumping into the steaming jungle!
From the airbase of Singapore, the Mongolian Airborne force takes off for the Kuching town in Borneo! Recon along the northern coast suggest minimal enemy presence. Should be an easy take like Luzon…
But oppps!!! A surprise awaits! Inland of Borneo, there are four Allied divisions in the heart of the rainforest plus the one in the coastal town of Pontianak!
Two Allied divisions immediately engaged the Mongolian Airborne Korps.
Lt Gen Irgel (Ogedei Airborne Korpus): Holy-Khan! It is like an ambush!!
To prevent loss of his men, Irgel retreated to waiting sea transports off- shore… and the next day a new whole load of three Mongol divisions under 10th Mongol Korps landed in replacement stopping both Allies and Japanese forces dead in their tracks!
It is certainly a short-lived victory for the enemies of Khan! With the sole airbase in Borneo firmly in Mongolian hands, soon it will be over for all the others!
Due to the larger number of enemy divisions in Borneo, the transports returned back to Singapore to bring in two more Malaysian divisions in Singapore for added support.
Dec 19th, 1946
So the enemies of Khan do what they can to get back, by raping Mongol sea transports!!
Met two destroyers off Borneo coast, escaped….. but met them again off-coast of Singapore! Oh dear!!
On Dec 21st, Mongol CAS fleet on naval patrol duties came across a monster Japanese fleet in the same place but fortunately the IJN did not join the US in raping Mongol transports who made back to Singapore safely albeit 4 heavily damaged ships.
It shows the South Asia Region is still crawling with both US and Japanese navy!!
Dec 21st, 1946
Back to Soviet frontlines…
The first attempt to take Stalingrad begins in earnest! Three Mongol divisions supported by three SU armored division assaulted Stalingrad with a dozen CAS air-wing on interdiction mission!
Lt Gen Nanejshvili (11th Engineering Korpus): If we can take Stalingrad, we can take any city in German held territory! Hitler shall lose all his political capital!!
Two German divisions defended Stalingrad, a regular infantry and a garrison division. The CAS fleet easily pounded the first infantry organizational levels to naught but could not scratch the garrison at all. With half of the assaulting troops ineffective Soviet armor, the Mongol’s attempt begins to falter. After lost of 5,000 over Mongolian men, it times to call off the attack to await more reinforcements.
FM Choybalsan (1st Nayramdakh Armija): Hang on, wait for us to arrive! Tanks doesn’t look good in urban battles! And their garrison is dug too deep for our CAS to touch!
Dec 25th, 1946
Lhumbe (Armaments): Dogfight Experiment Doctrine researched to polish our pilot aces skill! With the tough goings in former Soviet region against German forces, it make sense to research Modern Infantry (1947)!!
Choybalsan (Chief of Army): Oh yes, we’ll need that bad!
Dec 28th, 1946
Situation around north Caucus region. The 2nd assault on Stalingrad is pending arrival of Choybalsan’s division. The 1st Army, 7th Engr Corps & 2nd Kublai Keshik Korps are moving in for the assault. One issue is that four just beaten back German divisions seems to be falling back to Stalingrad as well. If they managed to get back to the Stalingrad, the quest for the city will have to be called off and effort will be adjusted towards the advance westward towards Rostov airbase.
Choybalsan (Chief of Army): It is too bad we’re in the middle of winter. The advance are slower than what we would want and German reinforcements are appearing everywhere. Thank Khan for the CAS fleet we have that is holding them at bay. Our strategy of building a forward airbase to support the frontline attacks are paying off very well!
Ulanhu (Chief of Airforce): We’re killing many German divisions that are popping up near our positions with our CAS fleet. The only threat to our CAS fleet is this German naval bomber group that seems to be patrolling the skies here. Got another engagement with them today and our pilots were forced to withdraw. Calling in another interceptor group from the Eastern Theater to deal with this threat.
The ground is cold and the wind cuts the skin. Can the Mongol faced the Russian winter and prevail?
