As any can tell, I am no expert in German, but for personal pronouns they have two words for "You" (singular). One is "Du", which you use for close friends, children (or insults) and the other is "Sie" which you use for everyone else. (French is similar with "Tu" and "Vous"). So Jodl would use "Ihre" for "your" when talking to Hitler. (Ihre is the possessive version of Sie).
I am assuming you are from Norway - does Norwegain not have the same? I must hang my head and admit that the only word Iknow that may be Norwegian is "Skal".
I am just being picky - you really should ignore me and concentrate on winning the war - you have a lot going on!
In Norwegian we have really stopped useing those terms, it was very common before, then everyone said "Du" to their friends and family, but we used "De" for other people, these days everyone just uses "Du". Anyways thanx, i will remember to use "ihre" the next time

*In honor of the successes of the Kriegsmarine during the last week, The Fuhrer have decided to hold the next conference on the KMS Tirpitz. Grand Admiral Raeder is most pleased with this as it is things like this which strengthens the positions of the VIP's of the Third Reich, the Fuhrers respect is everything. Raeder is taking Hitler for a tour around the ship, The Fuhrer has only been on board the Tirpitz once before.*

The spoiling attack totally fooled the Soviets, they had no idea that we had started to encircle them, and before they knew it the pocket was closed. General Dietrich and General Höpner managed to break through the Soviet lines after a few days and once they supported Model his men also managed to cut through the enemy lines. The Soviets made another mistake which increased our success further, the men holding the areas retreated into the pocket!
Hitler: Von Rundstedt, your men have performed very well, I knew my plan would work!

Von Rundstedt: Herr Frick has me a very good idea of how many Soviet troops we have managed to capture in the pocket:
Jaroslaw: 1 Infantry-Division , 1HQ unit and 5 Tank-Divisions. About 54570 men.
Gródek Jagiellonski: 1 Infantry-Division, 1 Motorized infantry-Division and 1 Tank-Division. About 27650 men.
Lwow: 2 Infantry-Divisions, 1 Motorized infantry-Division and 2 Tank-Divisions. About 41867 men.
The total for the entire pocket is 4 Infantry-Divisions, 1HQ, 2 Motorized infantry-Divisions and 8 Tank-Divisions. And the total of men trapped is more or less 124087 men.
Hitler: That is a huge amount of men and to think that more than half the Divisions are armored, das ist einfach unglaublich! Have you started to reduce the pocket?
Von Rundstedt, yes I have ordered about half of the troops stationed around the pocket to start attacking the Soviets! We are progressing very well in Jaroslaw, and Lwow, even though the enemy have launched a counterattack, but in Gródek Jagiellonski the Soviets are holding us. I am confident that they will break in a short while, they are not getting supplies and as soon as the other sectors have been taken we can focus all our power on that one area.

We won't have to cross any rivers and if we move quickly we could manage another encirclement, the battle of Rezina will be avenged. I have ordered two divisions from Yugoslavia to join the 11. Armee, they are commanded by Lt. General Shörner, he is a highly competent man.
Hitler: No, there will be no attack on Odessa, you are to break trough in the North, It does not have to be at Rezina, but the 11. Armee are after all the southern pincer which will be responsible for the huge southern encirclement, only after this is done you are to push for Odessa.

Herr Frick told me that one of our spies in the UK reported that the British people are already on food rations, and their national morale are falling day by day. Hitler: And as usual the Kriegsmarine has 0 losses?
Raeder: Yes that is correct Mein Fuhrer, some of our U-boats have sustained some damage, but not a single one has been sunk. The British have also sunk one of our escorts, I will try to prevent such things in the future.

Raeder: In the Östsee we encountered some packs of Soviet submarines in the gulf of Finland, they were trying to sink our convoys headed for Tallinn. Within the next two days we managed to sink two Soviet submarine flotillas, one of them was the 7.Flotillya Podlodok the other one we were not able to identify, but it has been sent to the bottom as well.
Hitler: Any losses for the Kriegsmarine?
Raeder: We have lost one of our U-boat fleets, this was to the Soviet air force, they have started to attack our shipping in the Östsee.
Hitler: Göring will fix it!

Raeder: We have also managed to sink a soviet convoyship outside the Norwegian coast, they were carrying equipment from the UK which were to be used by the Soviet armed forces, I think our general will be happy whenever the Soviet material can be sunk.

Raeder: However the Soviet's have managed to sink one of our transports as well, I have assigned escorts and the instance should not repeat itself.

The regions we have secured are: Pärnu, Risti, Saaremaa and the Estonian capital Tallinn. Lt. General Dietl want to take Tapa and Paide before he consolidates his bridgehead and waits for reinforcements. The operation have captured a lot of territory for 0 casualties, the citizens of Tallinn have given our men a warm welcome and we have been treated as liberators, it is clear that the Soviets are hated in this region.
Hitler: Excellent, I think Dietl's men have taken more territory in a shorter time than anyone else! I am most impressed with unternehmen Ritterbrüder, send Dietl more men and be sure to advance north from Latvia as quickly as possible, we need to link up with Befehlsstelle Estland and secure the coast. General Fischer W. is in command of our attack and he has become very skilled in attacking fortified areas by now, he has assured me of victory within the next week. And when Lida is in our hands we can support the northern pincer, after this the road to Minsk and Smolensk will be open!

Von Bock: We are attacking Alytus with a good portion of our troops, as you can see we have made progress here too, General Hoth is in command and he is known to be a ruthless attacker! Once Alytus is secured the rest of the pincer movement should be a lot easier, Hoth had to make a river crossing and as we all know that is a difficult operation while under enemy fire.
Hitler: Of course Von Bock, my compliments to General Hoth, tell him to keep his Panzer's moving and never let the enemy rest!

Von Bock: Yes, my men have found a way to crack the T34's! It is a very dangerous move however and we should get some better alternatives. My men have made improvised grenades and firebombs to deal with those damn tanks. Some of my men have bundled together their Stielhandgranate's into a anti-tank grenade. The other solution is to make a petrol bomb, the troops can throw it into the engines of the enemy tanks this will effectively knock them out, these petrol bombs were used by the Finish troops during the Winter war, and they have been kind enough to share their experience with us, the bombs are dubbed "Molotov cocktails".
Hitler: See gentlemen, simple ingenuity can stop the best tanks! But this is just a temporary solution and the Marder's will be the real answer! My congratulations to your men Von Bock!

The Soviets have not pushed any further into Norway, and because of that my troops have been able to regain organization and get some replacements for the men lost during the retreat.
Hitler: Do you think Heitz will achieve his objective?
Halder: Yes I am very sure of success in Unternehmen Nordlicht, my men are ready to repay the Soviets for the losses they have given us in the last month. There is one thing that might become a problem though, the Soviets are moving up a armored-Division, my scouts tell me that they have spotted a lot of T-26 tanks along with BT-7's, but the thing that worries me is the fact that the Soviet armored-Division has KV1 tanks! My PAK's can knock out T-26, and BT-7's but we have no chance against KV's. And the fact that the Soviets are supporting their men with those damn Katyusha's is not exactly improving the situation.

Halder: It is a heavy tank, it has 100mm frontal armor and a high velocity 76mm gun. better than any of our tanks Mein Fuhrer, the tanks has been named after Klement Voroshilov. It is a very powerful machine.

Halder: We did not manage to start it, the Soviets attacked my troops and Lt. General Silasvuo was forced to fall back, the conciquence of this is that Oulu will remain in Soviet hands for the time being, however i can't do anything about this Mein Fuhrer, since I have very limited forces we have to chose between Oulu and Petsamo.

Von Bock: We have continued our attack on Szczuczyn, as you can see we have rolled up several of the enemy positions even though the Soviets are constantly reinforcing, they are desperate to hold Lida. General Fischer W. is in command of our attack and he has become very skilled in attacking fortified areas by now, he has assured me of victory within the next week. And when Lida is in our hands we can support the northern pincer, after this the road to Minsk and Smolensk will be open!

Hitler: This sounds very good, you are making slow but steady progress, and let's face it Von Bock, you are up against most of the enemy troops. How is the northern pincer doing?
Von Bock: We are attacking Alytus with a good portion of our troops, as you can see we have made progress here too, General Hoth is in command and he is known to be a ruthless attacker! Once Alytus is secured the rest of the pincer movement should be a lot easier, Hoth had to make a river crossing and as we all know that is a difficult operation while under enemy fire.
Hitler: Of course Von Bock, my compliments to General Hoth, tell him to keep his Panzer's moving and never let the enemy rest!
Von Bock: Very good Mein Fuhrer!

Von Bock: Yes, my men have found a way to crack the T34's! It is a very dangerous move however and we should get some better alternatives. My men have made improvised grenades and firebombs to deal with those damn tanks. Some of my men have bundled together their Stielhandgranate's into a anti-tank grenade. The other solution is to make a petrol bomb, the troops can throw it into the engines of the enemy tanks this will effectively knock them out, these petrol bombs were used by the Finish troops during the Winter war, and they have been kind enough to share their experience with us, the bombs are dubbed "Molotov cocktails".
Hitler: See gentlemen, simple ingenuity can stop the best tanks! But this is just a temporary solution and the Marder's will be the real answer! My congratulations to your men Von Bock!

Halder: General Heitz have started his attack on Nautsi, he is making good progress, the Norwegian SS have been absolutely ruthless towards the Soviets, they have heard that the Soviets raped woman in Kirkenes and as a consequence the Norwegians are determined to get revenge. The Soviets have not pushed any further into Norway, and because of that my troops have been able to regain organization and get some replacements for the men lost during the retreat.
Hitler: Do you think Heitz will achieve his objective?
Halder: Yes I am very sure of success in Unternehmen Nordlicht, my men are ready to repay the Soviets for the losses they have given us in the last month. There is one thing that might become a problem though, the Soviets are moving up a armored-Division, my scouts tell me that they have spotted a lot of T-26 tanks along with BT-7's, but the thing that worries me is the fact that the Soviet armored-Division has KV1 tanks! My PAK's can knock out T-26, and BT-7's but we have no chance against KV's. And the fact that the Soviets are supporting their men with those damn Katyusha's is not exactly improving the situation.
6. SS Nord during Unternehmen Nordlicht
Hitler: What kind of tank is a KV1?
Halder: It is a heavy tank, it has 100mm frontal armor and a high velocity 76mm gun. better than any of our tanks Mein Fuhrer, the tanks has been named after Klement Voroshilov. It is a very powerful machine.
Hitler: Your men will have to rely on grenades, mines and Molotov cocktails Halder.

Hitler: What happened with your southern offensive?
Halder: We did not manage to start it, the Soviets attacked my troops and Lt. General Silasvuo was forced to fall back, the conciquence of this is that Oulu will remain in Soviet hands for the time being, however i can't do anything about this Mein Fuhrer, since I have very limited forces we have to chose between Oulu and Petsamo.
Hitler: Indeed, and I want Petsamo back!

I am quite dissappointed too when it comes to the speed of the attack, I had hoped to take lida withian the first two weeks, now it's well over a month and still it is not mine, neither is Riga
I don't think the Fuhrer will be to happy if we keep this slow speed in the future.
Well in real life Hitler favoured Jodl, Keitel and Göring, my plan was to do the same in my game, but the Kriegsmarine have performed very well and the Luftwaffe have been rather ineffective so therefor Reader have been given the position of "favoured VIP" for the moment at least, we will see how it develops in the future.

Hitler walks out into the hallway and spots the VIP's walking towards him, after they have all greeted the Fuhrer they all take their seats at the conference table.*
Hitler: So gentlemen it have been a while since last time, the only one I spoke to last week was admiral Raeder, his news was quite comforting I wonder whether you news will be as good as Raeder's.

Hitler: Von Leeb why don't you start.

Von Leeb: This is quite embarrassing Mein Fuhrer, but my front has not changed in two weeks, we are precisely where we were on July 26.

Von Leeb: Well half of my panzer's are under Von Bock's command, and they are participating in the attack on Alytus. Before Von Bock can achieve victory in Alytus I can't do very much.

Von bock: As you can see Mein Fuhrer we have started our attack on Lida, the battle is hard fought and we have not gained very much yet, General Hühner is in command and he thinks that he can break trough, however, this might represent its own problem because his forces will be exhausted after the final push for Lida. Should he continue.
Hitler: Tell me the rest of your report and I will decide later.
Von Bock: Very well Mein Fuhrer. We have also managed to secure two other areas, I have marked them in green so it is easier for you to see Mein Fuhrer. Nevertheless the Soviets managed to break our lines and take ground from us, and they have now used their breakthrough as a springboard in order to take back Kamien kozyrski, they are attacking this area from three sectors, and General Agrcola who is defending the area is vastly outnumbered he also has no tanks in his defense, however, he is holding good and the Soviets are having a hard time taking the province. I have ordered two more divisions to join him in the close future and personally I think that will halt their attack, once it has been halted I presume that the Soviet's will be tired and unorganized that is when I want to strike from the south and north simultaneously and encircle their breakthrough. What do you think Mein Fuhrer?

I have also made a plan for the Soviet salient caused by our attack towards Lida, I want to commit the last of my reserves and attack the salient from the north and south , I have analyzed the Soviet defensive works and I consider it to be quite possible. If this operation is successful then the front will be shorter and more men can be sent to Lida or to Kamien Kozyrski.
Hitler: Agreed, the effort will definitely be worth it if we can achieve another encirclement.
Von Bock: And about our attack on Alytus, I am confident that the Soviets are on the verge of braking, and once that has been achieved the rest of the way will be as I have said before, easy.

Von Rundstedt: Jawohl Mein Fuhrer. A great deal has happened in the South, here is my map:
Von Rundstedt: The first thing we started to do was to reduce the pocket, we managed to take JAroslaw very quickly, the enemy divisions there where hardly organized and they were running low on ammunition , however after this we started to get some setbacks, first the enemy attacked us in Novyi Rozdil, which we defended ferociously against a lot of enemy tanks, many of them, T34's. After about a week we had secured Lwow, but by now the enemy had also taken Krystnopol from us, we did everything we could to recover it, but it was not doable. , the enemy also took Novyi Rozdil, however, we had secured Lwow by then so the pocket remained closed. The enemy also tried to brake trough our lines in Drohobyez which they finally managed, when the enemy took this sector they had opened a route into the pocket.
Hitler: But you closed it quickly, right?
Von Rundstedt: Yes, we reacted like lightning to the enemy breakthrough, and Dietrich's tanks attacked the enemy from the north, and Model attacked from the west, after a few days the pocket was closed.
Hitler: Did any of the Soviet divisions manage to escape?
Von Rundstedt: Nein Mein Fuhrer, on the contrary. The enemy division which held the escape route retreated into the pocket rather than back to where they started, it was probably one of Stalin's directives.
Hitler: HAHAHA, you see meine herren, the Soviets are clearly a step back in the evolution process. How many divisions were added to the pocket?
Von Rundstedt: We have tried to determine that and we have come to the conclusion that it was about four divisions, one of with was armored, one cavalry and the two remaining probably infantry. The total division strength is about 35 000 men. So that brings the total of men inside to over 150 000. That is quite a defeat even for the Soviet's. The Soviets have once again tried to open up the escape route at Drohobycz, Von Stülpnagel C.H. is in command and he considers the enemy attack to be a desperate action rather than a serious attempt.

Von Rundstedt: Yes they have attacked us in the areas which have been committed to reducing the pocket. So as soon as the pocket is gone we can reinforce our lines with a lot of new troops. I also want to start an attack against the Soviet's in Lopatyn, this attack will be launched from Kamionka Strum which we have taken during the last weeks, if this attack is successful then we can encircle the Soviet salient. It will also shorten our lines considerably. I can also send men to support Von Bock further north. What do you think Mein Fuhrer?
Hitler: I think it is a good idea Von Rundstedt, you may start as quickly as possible, I am confident of your abilities after you managed to pull of Unternehmen Bärenfänger. What have happened in Romania these two weeks Von Rundstedt?

Von Rundstedt: Our attack from Romania have started, though not entirely in the way we had hoped for, our divisions reached Radauti last week, and before we started our attack on Sniatyn we sent some of our divisions to Berehomet in order for us to be able to attack Snityn from two directions. the Soviets had other plans and they launched an attack on our men in Berehomet, the Hungarian general Babics is in command, he is doing resonable when it comes to putting up a defence. Our attack on Sniatyn is well underway and I am confident of success. I have also ordered General Schörner to move to Rakiv, and from Rakiv he can join Von Dem Bach-Zellewski's attack on Sniatyn. I am quite confident when it comes to the Romanian front, we can also as soon as the pocket in Lwow is destroyed attack the Soviets in the rear.
Hitler: This sounds very good Von Rundstedt, even though I feel we have not advanced very far the last 6 weeks.
Von Rundstedt: You are right Mein Fuhrer, and we will all have to shape up and get a higher tempo in the future.

Halder: As you can see Mein Fuhrer, unternehmen Nordlicht has been a huge success, The 6.SS Nord and the 6. Infanterie-Division and broke through the Soviet lines, this allowed us to retake Petsamo and its nickel mines. When we had achieved this the Soviet's had realized the danger, but it was too late for them, we managed to cut off one of their divisions from the coast, it is surrounded in Ovre Pasvik and it is under attack from four directions, the attack is led by general Von Falkenhorst and he is sure that victory is only days away. The other Soviet Rifle-Division has clung on to the coast and but it too has been surrounded. It has made a stand in the town of Polmak, but I myself has led our attack on their perimeter and I am sure that the Soviets will surrender within the week is over.

Halder: The 6.SS have proven to be the best troops under my command, the Norwegians have fought with ferocity and they will spearhead my attack on Murmansk, this attack will start as soon as the enemy have been defeated in Ovre Pasvik. The troops that attack the new will attack the enemy a bit further south and push trough as quickly as possible and reach the white sea, thereby cutting the Kola peninsula off from the rest of the Soviet union, after this is do9ne we can assist the Fins in the central Finland district, they have been struggling there for a long time and the Soviets should find it a lot harder when they discover that my troops are engaging them from the rear.
Hitler: Einen güten plan General Halder, when Murmansk is in our hands I see to it that all the personnel of your armee will receive a special "Arctic shield" to commemorate your victory!

Raeder: We have sunk almost as many transports as we did last week, however we have not sunk a single escort ship! There can be several reasons to this, we have sunk all the British escorts in the past, or the British have decided to save their escorts until they are many enough to make a difference. Personally I think we have sunk all of them in the last weeks.
Hitler: What a victory Raeder!
Raeder: We have also sunk one Soviet transport during the last week, as usual it was headed for Murmansk.
Von Leeb: God work Raeder, I love it when we send Soviet ships to the bottom!

Raeder: We have not sunk a, lot of ships with our U-boats close to the UK this week, at least not compared to the last weeks, that means that we are well underway to sever some of the enemy trading routes.
Hitler: Is the Luftwaffe responsible for the sinking's then, since it is not the U-boats?
Raeder: No, the responsible ones are Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, they are operating outside of Newfoundland and they have found a lot of kills there.

Von Rundstedt: The first thing we started to do was to reduce the pocket, we managed to take JAroslaw very quickly, the enemy divisions there where hardly organized and they were running low on ammunition , however after this we started to get some setbacks, first the enemy attacked us in Novyi Rozdil, which we defended ferociously against a lot of enemy tanks, many of them, T34's. After about a week we had secured Lwow, but by now the enemy had also taken Krystnopol from us, we did everything we could to recover it, but it was not doable. , the enemy also took Novyi Rozdil, however, we had secured Lwow by then so the pocket remained closed. The enemy also tried to brake trough our lines in Drohobyez which they finally managed, when the enemy took this sector they had opened a route into the pocket.
Hitler: But you closed it quickly, right?
Von Rundstedt: Yes, we reacted like lightning to the enemy breakthrough, and Dietrich's tanks attacked the enemy from the north, and Model attacked from the west, after a few days the pocket was closed.

I also want to start an attack against the Soviet's in Lopatyn, this attack will be launched from Kamionka Strum which we have taken during the last weeks, if this attack is successful then we can encircle the Soviet salient. Our attack on Sniatyn is well underway and I am confident of success. I have also ordered General Schörner to move to Rakiv, and from Rakiv he can join Von Dem Bach-Zellewski's attack on Sniatyn. I am quite confident when it comes to the Romanian front, we can also as soon as the pocket in Lwow is destroyed attack the Soviets in the rear.

It has made a stand in the town of Polmak, but I myself has led our attack on their perimeter and I am sure that the Soviets will surrender within the week is over.

There can be several reasons to this, we have sunk all the British escorts in the past, or the British have decided to save their escorts until they are many enough to make a difference. Raeder: We have not sunk a, lot of ships with our U-boats close to the UK this week, at least not compared to the last weeks, that means that we are well underway to sever some of the enemy trading routes.

Raeder: No, the responsible ones are Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, they are operating outside of Newfoundland and they have found a lot of kills there.

Von Rundstedt: General Model is still under attack in Drohobycz, howerver the Soviet attack is doomed to failiure. I want to relieve pressure of the Hungarians and Romanians by attack the Soviets in Bolekhiv. At the same time we will strike against Zydaczów. If we take Zydaczów we can use it as a springboard for a further advance on Stanislanow, Stnaislanow is the main Soviet airbase in the south, and therefore it should be an important objective. I also consider it highly possible for us to capture a great deal of enemies in this push, the Soviet troops are exhausted after multiple relief attempts and we should manage to brush them aside with relative ease. To secure our advance to Stanislanow via Zydaczów I think we should also attack Novyi Rozdil, which the Russians captured during Unternehmen Bärenfänger. Novyi Rozdil will secure the northern flank on our push for Stanislanow.
Hitler: Very good Von Rundstedt, you may launch these attacks as quickly as possible, and reinforce the ones that have already started.

I want to relieve pressure of the Hungarians and Romanians by attack the Soviets in Bolekhiv. At the same time we will strike against Zydaczów. If we take Zydaczów we can use it as a springboard for a further advance on Stanislanow, Stnaislanow is the main Soviet airbase in the south, and therefore it should be an important objective. I also consider it highly possible for us to capture a great deal of enemies in this push, the Soviet troops are exhausted after multiple relief attempts and we should manage to brush them aside with relative ease. To secure our advance to Stanislanow via Zydaczów I think we should also attack Novyi Rozdil, which the Russians captured during Unternehmen Bärenfänger. Novyi Rozdil will secure the northern flank on our push for Stanislanow.

Halder's men in this sector have suffered only light losses and Halder wants to let the enemy advance before using his faithful 6.SS Nord to cut them off.
Hitler: Has he taken Murmansk?
Keitel: Nein Mein Fuhrer, he had to terminate his assault because the enemy tank division struck at Nautsi, he could not move the SS into Murmansk without that sector.
Hitler: All right, any countermeasures?
Keitel: Yes he has moved his last Gerbirgsjäger Division from their reserve position in Norway and they are headed for the Petsamo sector, once they are there we can use the 6.SS to take back Nautsi, with help from Von Falkenhorst's Infanterie-Division.

Our attack on Mosty is not proceeding as well, Von Bock himself is in command and he believes that as soon as Grodno is ours he can assist hi attack on Mosty, this will be the decisive element in his opinion.
Hitler: Is he sure of success in Grodno?
Jodl: As sure as he can get, the Soviet's have not been sending any more men into the sector and without more men they can't hope to hold it.

The Soviets are attacking us in Stryj, the sector is being defended by general Haccius, he is also attacking Zydaczów, while the attack is not proceeding as we had hoped I am sure that as soon as Von Armin takes Novyi Rozdil he can support Haccius'es attack on Zydaczów, that should definitely be more than the Soviet's can handle. General Von Stülpnagel has launched his men against the Soviet's in Bolekhiv, and as a consequence of this their attack on Stryj is a lot weaker than what it could have been. When thse attacks are done the airbase at Stanislanow is the next objective, but this you of course know Mein Fuhrer.

Raeder: We have sunk two more Soviet U-boats. We engaged them in the Gulf of Finland a few days ago and after only an hour of combat the 14. Flotilya Podlodok and the 6. Flotilya Podlodok were sent to the bottom of the Gulf, we have zero losses to report after the engagement.

Hitler: Gentlemen, you have not all heard yet, Göring has betrayed us all, he has went to the mercy of MR Churchill, the cigar smoking alcoholic has taken him under his cloak and Göring are now feeding the enemy with our strategic situation.
Jodl: Damn that man! We shall have vengeance!

Jodl: If you don't mind Mein Fuhrer, shall we move on to the Eastern front?

Jodl: Danke Mein Fuhrer, I will start with Befehlsstelle Finland.
Jodl: Halder has run into a lot of problems, his lines were attacked by the Soviets on the 18. and the enemy tanks quickly forced him from Nautsi, then the enemy pushed on and took both Paatsjoki and Ivalo within the next days. Halder's men in this sector have suffered only light losses and Halder wants to let the enemy advance before using his faithful 6.SS Nord to cut them off.
Hitler: Has he taken Murmansk?
Keitel: Nein Mein Fuhrer, he had to terminate his assault because the enemy tank division struck at Nautsi, he could not move the SS into Murmansk without that sector.
Hitler: All right, any countermeasures?
Keitel: Yes he has moved his last Gerbirgsjäger Division from their reserve position in Norway and they are headed for the Petsamo sector, once they are there we can use the 6.SS to take back Nautsi, with help from Von Falkenhorst's Infanterie-Division.
Jodl: Further south Silasvuo has encircled the 33. NKVD Rifle-Division along with 3 weak HQ units, the assault is proceeding with some progress but we are not sure of victory by any means.
Hitler: Why is this?
Jodl: Our men are quite tired and without much organization, but we are more worried about the Soviet relief attempt which has been launched by one Tank-Division with another one in reserve, we are, however, not sure whether the Soviet objective is Oulu or to relive General Nikitin. Whatever happens we will do what we can to destroy the encircled enemy.

Keitel: Armegruppe Nord has made great progress in Estonia, you can see for yourself Mein Fuhrer.
Keitel: General Dietl has taken Kivioli and Kohtla Järve without any losses, and he is now headed for Narva, Narva is the area furthest east which he can occupy in the closest future. H will need more Divisions before he can move against Leningrad. He has also started an attack against Mustvee, two Soviet divisions held the area, one is already on the run and the other one is clinging on with its fingernails. General Brennecke is leading the attack, he is originally a mountaineer and his specialty lies in winter-warfare, however, he has performed very well and Von Leeb is confident that Mustvee will be ours in a few days.

Keitel: Yes, Dietl is going to start an attack against Aloja, as soon as the rest of Armeekorps Tallinn arrive in the area,. The seizure of Aloja will bring us a lot closer to connecting the bridgehead with the rest of Armeegruppe Nord. To support Dietl, General Bush has fallen back with Höpner's panzer's and they will instead launch an attack on Sigulda. If we are successful we will have a way across the Daugava-river.
Hitler: Great plans, and General Dietl are to be given my greatest congratulations.
Keitel: Heil Mein Fuhrer.
Hitler: Güt, carry on with Armeegruppe Mitte.
Jodl :Jawohl Mein Fuhrer.
Jodl: Von Bock has instructed me to tell you that the front have been relatively stabile. No changes of territory has occurred.
Hitler: Also güt, what are the status of the battles?
Jodl: We are making good progress in Alytus, the Soviet's appear to be breaking under our constant assault. General Hoth tells me that he will not need much longer before the sector is ours.
Hitler: Sehr güt. What else.
Jodl :Our attack on Grodno are proceeding very well, General Feldt is leading the attack and he is very skilled in his work. Our attack on Mosty is not proceeding as well, Von Bock himself is in command and he believes that as soon as Grodno is ours he can assist hi attack on Mosty, this will be the decisive element in his opinion.
Hitler: Is he sure of success in Grodno?
Jodl: As sure as he can get, the Soviet's have not been sending any more men into the sector and without more men they can't hope to hold it.

Jodl: Von Bock has also launched his attack against Poworsk, General Scholz Von Rerancze is leading the attack on the province and he is making good headway against the Soviet defenses. The General is not very experienced and personally I doubt if he is up to the task, time will show.
Hitler: Was that all from the central sector?
Jodl: Yes.
Hitler: Very well, move on to Armeegruppe Süd then.
Keitel: Jawohl Mein Fuhrer.
Keitel: As you can see we had to abandon our attack on Torczyn, we simply could not dislodge dthe Soviets. Anyways, we have planned our attack on Torczyn till after we have taken Poworsk, then we can attack it from three directions , that should be more than enough to break the Soviets.
Hitler: Excellent!
Keitel: Further south we are on the verge of victory in Novyi Rozdil, General Von Armin has lead his men in an admirable way, if we had more such officers the war would be over! The Soviets are attacking us in Stryj, the sector is being defended by general Haccius, he is also attacking Zydaczów, while the attack is not proceeding as we had hoped I am sure that as soon as Von Armin takes Novyi Rozdil he can support Haccius'es attack on Zydaczów, that should definitely be more than the Soviet's can handle. General Von Stülpnagel has launched his men against the Soviet's in Bolekhiv, and as a consequence of this their attack on Stryj is a lot weaker than what it could have been. When thse attacks are done the airbase at Stanislanow is the next objective, but this you of course know Mein Fuhrer.
Hitler: Any news from Romania?
Keitel: Yes, but it is only the same as we expected, General Von Dem Bach Zellewski's attack is moving steadily forward, he expects victory during the next week.
Hitler: Very well, If that was all then you can leave meine herren. Except Ernst, I want a word with you.

Hitler: I have placed a great deal of faith in you, but that is because I feel that you are the only person who can breathe new life into the Luftwaffe and once again make it the supreme ruler of the skies, I want you to be ready to support the troops in the East within the next week, you also have to get interceptors over the skies of Germany as quickly as possible.
