So, I was playing my Scottish-ruled Brittish empire today... and decided to check up on my vassal, the queen of France, who recently succeeded her mother...

Seems she fancies her courtier, Murron...

I decided to take a closer look at the lover of the French Queen, out of sheer curiosity...

Wait, she has a son, and no husband..?

*charinfo* For curiosity's sake...

Um... WAIT-WHAT O_O

Yup, thats... Something... and its a boy, at that.
I wonder if this has to do with taking on the Cathar faith a while back...

In 1372, the French create human cloning. Taking a single cell of her own, the Queen of France managed to insert its nucleus into one the eggs of her lover and encouraged it to grow into living matter.

Even today, how they managed to create the Y-chromosome still remains a mystery...

I imagine this happened:

Queen: "You're pregnant? You unfaithful slut!"
Lover: "No, you're the father, I swear. I haven't been with anybody else."
Queen: "But I'm a woman, I can't be the father."
Lover: "Look, it's even in the game files."
Queen: "Huh, guess I was wrong. I'm sorry for doubting you, darling."
Lover: *hands a bag of gold to a Paradox coder*

Don't be ridiculous! Everyone knows that the sex of a child is determined upon birth. The spontaneous generation of the Y-chromosome is one of the last things to occur to a child.

Besides, everyone knows that the Y chromosome is just a defective X. That's why it's so much shorter-- it's just an X with a leg chopped off :p

Vaguely pervy history fact: the ancient greeks believed that women with, er, an unusually pronounced lady part could impregnate other women.

So uh can this happen with male-male lovers?

If you believe the Greek logic, perhaps a guy with an unusually small man-part is needed to father a child with another guy?

To answer your question seriously, yes the bug strikes both male-male relationships as well as female-female.

Only thing I can say to that is...OUCH!!!
