Mods That Change The Map To Focus On A Smaller Area/Make An Area More Detailed ?

Has created a new map that focuses on western Europe, with the same/a greater number of provinces than vanilla.

Is there a list of/can you help me find other mods that do this ?

The above mod would be ideal but it's still a work in progress. I'm looking for a mod that has all of Europe/western Europe at this scale/detail.

That mod is actually one of the most complete and detailed mods for CK2. You'll be hard pressed to find something better... the map is just like that so any eventual additions of provinces to spain wouldn't require adjusting everything... but its definitely not a WIP mod.

Any mod which is a total overhaul and includes western europe would probably have more provinces than vanilla.. think, HIP, WTWSMS, New Era Old World, Diadochi Kings, etc.

There is no other mod that focuses on western Europe.
"The Winter King" is the best mod you can get for that.

There were some projects that tried, but ultimately failed to get realised.
Like "Western Euorpe 1337-1469 The Rose, The Lily, and the Oak." for example.

I think Diadochi Kings focuses on its appropriate area, med and near east, as there are similar for Japan and China,
but nothing else for western Europe.

Generaly speaking every overhaul mod adds extra provinces.

as i never actualy played them :

Only that creates an alert...or at least for me. Not sure i recal all alert options.

I guess i could have mentioned that if willing to play the HIP mod, then its included map mod SWMH version without India and Africa comes
maybe close to the OPs idea with focus on Europe and the Near East with many more detailed provinces.
