Ok I will give you this the events are good but come on any body who plays as the minor powers is going to go to sleep playing the game, I have the most fun with these little guys. And Australia needs a lot more the event that might happen in the area in the next 10years are going to change this region for good, I can give you some if you like, I would offer to help but I don’t know how to do it sorry.

The thing is, none of us nows EVERYTHING that happens in every corner of the world at all times, so all we in the team can concentrate on is the cornerstone events that make out the outline of the story. All other events have to come from donators, like you

how about some flavor events we can add...i was wondering if we can put this, so that we cant go to sleep if there are no events happening...especially when playing minor countries like uruguay and others...

flavor events - natural disasters

Mt. Vesuvius Erupts - decrease in manpower, ICs
Typhoon Joe hits Florida! - decrease in manpower, ICs, coastal fort modified to -1

How about events that simulates labour strikes (like the ones we see in hoi vanilla). Disasters (like an earth quake in Los Angeles or monsun rains over India. I'm just adding to your idea zytrexx). These events could trigger dissents, loss of income.

A space shuttle crash = setback in some area related to space reseach (maby not possible but I'm just brainstorming here). An accident happens at a reseach facility (where they develop germs for biological warfare), a deadly disease happens in that town (in a country that have the techs to do it ofourse). Dissent rise by a percent or two.

A ship lost at sea (a random ship is lost to that country).
A country have a sudden babyboom (manpower increase by +10?).
Youth movements increase the manpower at war (non democratic countries).

A terrorist attack somewhere in the u.s or europe.

I'll do some more brainstorming later on. Those flavour events (Godzilla attacking the world) might be implemented later on (check with Lunar and maggern), but I doubt they will be triggered automaticly playing a smaller country ;) They could be like easter eggs.

Ive got a couple ideas please comment

India:War with china

a:Mobilize as many men as you can/many low quality divs

b:Keep the army profesional/few high quality divs

same event structure would work for china in mobilization

China: Expansion of fleet

a: keep the fleet local/a couple subs some destroyers lose resources cost 1000 steel 1000 oil?

b:Make a fleet the west will fear/many subs along with destroyers and cruisers lose lots of resources

c: no fleet expansion

and finally

Taiwan:purchase of american aeigis destroyers, though costly these destroyers would be vital in maintaing taiwanese secruity

a: purchase them/gain 4 destroyers cost of 10000 steel 10000 oil or something around that

Taiwan:Mobilization China has declared war on taiwan

a:Mobilize the nation/add inf cost 2500 supplies

b:Mobilize and fortify gain 1 costal fort value in provinces
along with inf cost 5000 supplies and 1000 iron
 
Hey Maggern there have been some conflicts with various IDs and I’m thinking that in an effort to prevent future conflicts the event ID range should be changed. For example instead of the US having the 93000 range number it should have 193000 so other stuff like leaders or units wont have the same IDs as some events.
 
Those conflicts are a result of copies in the usa.inc file.
I'm not sure that range is possible anyway, I belive you have to stay within the valid id range as 99000 is the highest id nr available (hard coded by Paradox).
