Portuguese events 2004-2020

7 January 2004, Portugal didn’t achieved the 0% deficit, imposed by the EU. But the EU gonna give Portugal an other chance, never the less we need to pay a small sanction.

5 June 2005, After 10 years with out winning the 1º league Benfica ( the biggest football club in Portugal, more that one third of the population are adepts of the club ), in Lisbon and in all Portugal the people are making the party of the decade.

1 January 2006, In the election for the Assembly the has divide the Left Parties had 114 seats in the Assembly and the moderate right parties had 114 seats too, the other two seats were occupied by the extreme right party know as the “União Nacionalista” ( the Nationalist Union ). In the times of the Fascism the name of the governmental party has União Nacional ( National Union ). This is the first time in 36 years of democratic governments that a extreme right party is in government.

1 January 2014, Many Portuguese people don’t like the new government they put our economy back to the top, but no one like to work like slavers, so in the Elections of 2014 the left movement know as the “Bloco de Esquerda” ( Left Block ) had more seats in the Assembly, thanks ex-communists. But the right parties all together had more seats, so will the new government make a coalition with Partido Socialista” ( Socialist Party ) or will it stay independent?

1 January 2018, again in this elections Bloco de Esquerda ( Left Block ) had the more deputies and again the right all together had more deputies and again we must make a coalition. But now we have an other party the “Partido Portugues Patriotico” Portuguese Patriotic Party, ( their objective is to retake Olivença ( Olivença is a ex-Portuguese city in the border it has conquered by Spain in the war of independency in 1640 but it never been accepted as Spanish by Portugal, that mean that the city is occupied, but the time had past and no one cares. And only the most Nationalist person in Portugal really care ) and have more power with in the EU and with the ex-colonies ) it is a central party and it have 3 deputies. If we make a coalition with only make a coalition with PS or with PS and the PPP.
---Because their isn’t a province only of Olivença, the CB shield must be in Estremaduras---

28 May 2019, The East Timor government don’t have money the trade agreement with Australia had ended, and they really need money. They will became like a economical and political vassal.

i got an idea for EU !! let's create a country EU in Brussels!! and everycountry will be its vassal!! but belgium will be only Flanders??? i dont think so!!!

Gathenhielm wants it this way too. I agree, belgium will be small, but there will be a event wich allows all EU countries to be apart of the country "EU". Then Belgium will have the great honour to have the capitol of EU (the country)

I think it is a little harsh and maybe illogical to suddenly have an independent state in southern Italy. Therefore, I propose instead just to have revolts in the south and increased revoltrisk in those southern provs.
Also, maybe there should be an event that leads up to the eruption of dissention in the south where a certain action triggers it. Maybe if gov't chooses between favoring north or south? Or maybe they could compromise between the two regions?

Mormegil, about your Gibraltar War events, how does Morocco have a claim to Gibraltar? Also, doesn't Gibraltar belong to the British? So maybe instead this conflict could be between GB and Spain?

USA has declared war on Iraq in their war against terror.
Do we support this?

Just a suggestion Jack, the Italian country in the mod with be an editied Papal States so you should remember when doing the Italian events to do PAP not ITA

Have I an Iraq event suggestion. All this is based upon that USA may attack Iraq in the future.

Maybe you don't know, 3 or 4 days ago Morrocco send soldiers to the island prejila, wich was neutral. The spanish sent soldiers themself, and took the island. The morrocan government became pissed of, and called it a declaration of war. The spanish government said that they were willing to move the troops if the morrocan government promised that the island still would be neutral. AFAIK It hasn't been settled yet.
Also, Spain owns some of the african part of Gibraltar.

You can also have a similar event for GB and Spain
