Birch, Don't get me wrong, im certainly not complaining, i was just giving you some feedback in case the pics were corrupted, and i certainly don't give a stuff about the writing on the general, i found it extremely funny, and just wondering what it said:D

From the looks of it, there have been complainers, God knows why, but i guess sometimes you can't satisfy everyone.(was that guy for real btw?).

If anyone needs converting, Tell them to find 1 1/5 of the pics and generals you guys have found, and be generous, give them 2 months......I know what the answer will be;)

I noticed you already got a couple of the Frecnchies i was talking about, I also found that the pic of Corap i have looks similar to the touchon pic in HoI, I will copy the page I got him on so that you can see the writing, just in case.

nonononono everybody is entitled to correct and critisize.I was just a little a tired the day I read the harsh critic and suddenly I felt down on behalf of the enormous effort all in this group had done....but as usual I shrug it off...:D

Finding pics is sometimes like finding a needle in the haystack,If you look for it you will never find it,and the minut you sit down in the hay you will find it...:) That happened to me today with gen Rychtrmoc.I have searched and searched and today while looking for something completely different I saw a pic of Tiso I have never seen before so I went to the site and....yes the txt said ..in the middle Robert Rychtrmoc....That made my day...:D .Like the other day when Frodon directed me to a site for another question and there was a lot of the missing Arab generals and perhaps Peake Pasha too (still awaits verifying on that)so it comes out of the blue.

He is usually referred to by his short name only, but the full aristocratic name adds more flavour, so maybe you should rename him. But note that my ministers file is almost ready, I'll post it today.


Adam Rose - published a book on polish politics 1918-1939 in 1942
Alfred Leon Konopka - Who was he? He signed some agreement with Czechoslovakia in late twenties, but never heard of him. From the text of the agreement I can assume that he was just an engineer who took part in the realisation of some river works on the border.
Antoni Roman - died in 1940 (?)
August Zaleski - definitely alive, he's already included in my file. After WWII he was polish president for more than 25 years
Casimir Ehrenberg - should be Kazimierz Ehrenberg, but I know him as a theatre critic and a journalist in the twenties and a chief of Kurier Poranny newspaper until 1931. Was he a politician as well? I know that every Pole is a politician, but...
Francois Sokal - should be Franciszek Sokal, a minister 1924-25, a delegate to the League of Nations in 1926-27, delegate to the 1931 Assembly in Geneva. No further info.
Janusz Zoltowski - should be Janusz Zóltowski, died in 1969, but never made it past financial attache. He signed the UN treaty, however.
Leon Joseph Baranski - Leon Józef Baranski or simply Leon Baranski (as he didn't use his second name) - last director of Polish Bank (signed the last issue of banknotes - August 15/20, 1939), in the late thirties Walery Slawek planned a shadow cabinet of Ignacy Matuszewski with Baranski as minister of Finances, and Jan Józef Lipski as Minister of Foreign Affairs. He could be a replacement for min. of Armaments as well (from 1936) as a Laissez-faire capitalist, as he was fascinated by american economical liberalism. But there's no chance he'd enter any cabinet with Beck or Sikorski.
Ludwik W. Rajchmann - who was he?
Marie Curie Sklodowska (she was stiff-dead indeed) - she died in 1934 because of radiation. Never heard of any political significance as she lived in France. But you can make some use of the photo anyway as she was really pretty woman...
Marjan Rudzinski - Marian Rudzinski - the only info I could find was that he was a commander of a Military Zone of the Home Army during WWII.
Mieczyslaw Sokolowski - you mean pp³k (lt. colonel?) Mieczyslaw Sokolowski 'Grzymala'? He was a commander of one of the military zones during the Warsaw Uprising, in which he fell. Was he a politician as well? Or maybe it is some other person I couldn't find? Sokolowski is an extremely popular name, almost as popular as Kowalski...
Stanislas A Neyman - Stanislaw Neyman - the only info I could find is that the guy lived in Switzerland and 1934-38 sent lots of paintings for the National Museum in Warsaw. He might've been a political emigrant, I don't know.
Tadeusz Lychowski - he was a substitute on the 18'th and 19'th assembly of the League of Nations in Geneva (1937 & 1938) and wrote some essay on the topic of industrialization in the Third World (1961) and some other works on history of economy in the fifties.
Waclaw Mohl - No eye dear ;)
Wieslaw Domaniewski - no info on the web either.

I'm still working on it, but there are lots of changes already. For instance I changed most of the red shadow cabinet, as the Paradox guys used polish anti-communist socialists as communists...

BTW, I'm still thinking of making Poland Paternal Autocrat from the beginning. This would go better with my planned set of events (C.O.R.E.) to represent the changes in governments.

Halibutt, should Stachiewicz really be chief of staff? I always think that in HoI this position is for the 'supreme commander of armed forces' guy. And shouldn`t be Rayski chief of air force in 1936?

Well, it's a matter of discussion. I vote for the Chief of Staff being the Chief of Staff and Chief of Army (GISZ & Glownodowodzacy) being Chief of Army. But if you have any serious arguments, maybe you could make me change my mind.

As to the Chief of Air Forces, both Rayski (Reissky in alternative version of his name) and Zajac were important figures. The earlier was chief of air 1926 - III 1939 (dimissioned). The latter was a Commander of Air Defence (Jan. 1937 on) and later replaced Rayski as well. I simply thought that it would be much easier to include him from the beginning, then to add him in an event. But you're right, when I think of it now, Rayski seems much more reasonable. Zajac should go as a replacement and a CoA in both choices in 1940 elections.

Edit/ An interesting fact about Rayski: during WWI he served in... Turkish Air Forces as an ordinary pilot (3 british planes shot down).

Thanks for the info....actually Curie isn't pretty on my pic which I believe was taken shortly before she died,I will sort of spread them out in the minister file,and yes the spelling on that Leaque of Nations site is somewhat below zero....:)

When you have finished your Polish ministers I will copy/paste it,as it might take a little while before we reach the "election/event" idea,where I have noted down several possibilities for Poland.

You are correct Lunar,The reason I listed romania as being without propaganda is because I have not made it yet,I apologize for the confusion in that...:) The Together one is a little difficult to decide where to go.I was sort of thinking of Liberia but then I found a nice propaganda for that state,I'm not sure we can use it for the some of the Arab states

The real stumbling blocks at this moment is Bulgaria,but Dibo has promised that he will rob the National Museum for whatever they might have...other very diffucult ones are Slovakia (I wonder if anyone can recall the Party name of Tiso 's movement,that could be a help.) and Tannu Tavu and Turkey.I have actually managed to find something useful for the rest..including a very very nice Vichy propaganda...:D

Halibutt, mayby Rayski could get "Army Aviation Doctrine" insteand of "Air Superiority"? You know, it`s a bit boring to have the same bonus for all air ministers :) And what you think about adding Sosnkowski as a chief of army (replacement)?

Also, about leader file: any chance that army commanders from 1939 (Bortnowski, Fabrycy, Kutrzeba, Przedrzymirski) will become full generals and play their historial role? I prefer them insteand of totally unknown for me full general Dembinski ;)
