you can only land divisions on provinces with beach icons, for taiwan these are the northern and the southern provinces

It's not even letting me land in the beach provinces, that's the issue. I researched the 1938 amphibious invasion tech and built a marine division and it still wouldn't let me.
 
Is it not giving you the option? Or are the naval units turning back as soon as they reach the beach? If the latter, hit infinite time option.

i have noticed something odd in my last two soviet games. germany and japan declared war on me without event and my belligerance wasnt high, so ?

did you attack someone that they guaranteed? what was their interventionism score? if maxed out they can attack at 1 belligerence
 
I noticed a bad alliance trigger/bug playing Bulgaria... I pretty much finished off the balcans by 1950 and so did Germany with France. I thought It'd be a good a idea that russia, japan and several other countries joined my alliance ("acceptall") and lead a war against Germany, because there is territory to claim. However, Lithuania was conquered by the Germans, they surrendered and after only 2 weeks the big world war was over... oO

This may not happen! As the 2nd most powerfull nation in the game I should be the alliance leader and I decide when a war is lost... a bug to be fixed, I think... so I wanted to report it... end.
 
Playing 1.3 Beta 2, and it's a great fun, thank you guys for doing fantastic work.
I just want to note that German colonial ventures need plenty of development.
1) Mittelafrika is absolutely broken right now. It has a negative metal production due to the permanent treaty with Reich that sucks metal out of them. Germany won't accept any metal trade agreements and you can't trade with anyone but them due to puppet status.
AI can't handle that and spends 90% of the game without resources and with 3 IC, leaving them unable to do absolutely anything.
In a situation like that Germany fleeing to Africa after loosing to Empire Russia/Commune combo is pretty pointless, they get land with a couple of divisions from 1920s that can't even defend its shores. Joining the Entente at this point is pretty pointless too, since they are going to be annexed in a month anyway.
Player can fix the resource problem, though. You basically have to manually trade with Germany every 2 weeks/2 minutes and sell them supplies and money for metal. This is basically all you can do while playing as Mittelafrika and isn't very fun. Building or upgrading army is borderline impossible in that situation.
So, Mittelafrika needs either a) resource draining permanent trade agreement with Germany canceled b) Better starting resources c) Or more resource exploitation events that fix the drain and more industrialization events. d) All of the above.
Also, perhaps some additional colonial conquest events wouldn't hurt. May be in the direction of Ethiopia or Southern Africa, seeing how SA spends 90% of their time trying to steal blueprints from MA.
Unless some serious changes are implemented, M-a is dead in the water as a country.
2) AoG needs more options if you chose to play as a corporation, instead of going RoC route. For a business venture they really don't do a whole lot of business.
They have no direction, since they get no cores on anyone or any objectives. Perhaps some further exploitation of China is possible, with them getting cores/events for some of the Qing industrial centers or may be getting into Indochina/Indonesia or Japanese sphere of influence. And additional exploitation/industrialization events won't hurt either, since their lack of cores means they will never catch up with Qing/Japanese industry unless they conquer whole Asia.
Also, if Germany choses to free Vietnam during the rebellion, AOG should have an option to go in and restore order (or help Germany in the first place). It's weird that they just mind their business when other colonies crumble near them.

So I've played KR on Darkest Hour before, but I've just re-installed both, and something's happening I've never seen before. The game itself and the main screen loads fine, but when I actually try to start an individual game, the loading screen cuts to this:

after which the game closes. Anyone have an idea what's going on here?
 
I feel insulted by the fact that out of zillion countries in KR, it is my favourite Bulgaria that lacks intelligence XD

What version are you using? That looks like an older version error to me, they were patched out a while back afaik.

I'm trying to play this game as Hungary. It starts without any problem, but after some months it just suddenly crashes down.
I would love to play this mod! so please give me some advice, how could I fix this?
 
Sorry but I cant, just because it doesn't show any error-message screen. It suddlenly scrashes down, and then the typical message from windows if i want to send the error details.

Well, we're not wizards, so if you just say, "It crashes", we can't be of much help.

Does it crash consistently on a certain date? This could show us if it's at least event-related.
 
Commune victory in Germany is broken

Basically, the British and French don't seem to have a joint victory event. All of the British held territory (including Berlin) was given away to them by the Germans after the French vitory event, the British then created the north German federation. This left the French with a Bavarian puppet and no way of doing anything with the rest of Germany which is still seen as occupied, because it is apparently un-annexable. (I was playing at the Qing Empire, and seeing as the commune had started grabbing Germany's colonial possessions after taking mainland germany, I went for Indochina and German held Chinese ports. This left them with no vital provinces and their capital moved to port blair, a pointless island in India, which is when I just quit.)


Also, France and Britain have managed to find themselves tangled in the Balkans. Needs a victory event for the commune there to fix the mess.
 
Major exploit, when playing Socialist Southern Italy:
Making the dissent high will envoke the revolution and player may choose new votes. It happens even, when the congress of the union runs. So, there are two separate chains at once: Player may choose christian socialist government, which is in few days switched to totalist.
 
When Siberia gains independence it does not get most of the far eastern provinces and the northern most ones then japanned attacked in my game and i did as well and the borders are really messed up.

No, it's not related to any date or event. It varies everytime.
I tried to play with Austria, and there were no problems after 2 years. So that I decided to try with USA, but after one year and a half, it crashed down. Then, I started again with Hungary, and after 9 months it crashed down.
Could it be because I'm playing in high-speed time?
