How can I change the font (letter type) of the game?

I saw some mods, which is changed the letter type of the game. I want to make a fully hungarian translation, but I need to change the letter type, because in the map, the names are bugged.

As i recall, there are font files in the gfx folder.

But, it'm not entirely sure how interchangeable the characters are.

And is there any guide, or else which is help me to "replace" them? Or in another forum segment that may help me? I never did nothing like it, so I don't know where to start.
