Checksum should be FDAJ, or KMZO if you have Steam.

Enjoy =^.^=

as much as I like to take the credit myself, you should thank the whole team. both Darkrenown and TomaszKowalczyk have been working hard in the summer heat on it.

Any chance of the patch in the form of an archive? I want to apply it to my secondary FTM directory :|

I havent tested, but it asks you for an install location doesnt it? so you should be able to do install again and pick the new location.

Didn't ask with the previous one, will check though.

Thanks :)

if it doesnt work you can just copy the other FTM folder I guess.

It doesn't work, I got a Steam version and it just says "For the Motherland is not installed"... :\

So it doesn't detect both the Steam version nor the other patched version...

it wont work for steam version. this is only for ones using our own installer like from GG. You need to wait for steam patch :( (I sent them an extra prodding just now too). If there are no issues on their side it should be up tonight

I don't want to sound ungrateful, great thx for that patch in time for the week end, but can we hope to see the following bugs fixed:
- the CG bugs ? http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?545718-FTM-3.03-Airplane-behavior-issues
- The units being detached from their HQ when the HQ is shattered? http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?545860-BUG-FTM-3.03-Dissolution-of-theatre-oob-when-theatre-HQ-is-shattered

really game breakers for me...

thanks again and have a great week end!

you cant fix everythign at once. I prefer releasing patches often instead of doing, say, a monthly patch with a lot of stuff. The bugs you noted have been registered of course.

@PI
First Thanks!

But what about this?

I've read this issue in nearly every thread to the last patch and beta...
And now not a word in this patch?
Can't be serious...come on

is it really an issue? the first thing an AI will do is switch to the new law? and same with a player? how does it affect anything

What if I manage to coup germany, or any other faction leaders? Will they leave the faction? Who will be the new faction leader if they do?

faction leaders are not coup:able because I felt it could be exploited too much. however others in a faction are. its much harder than couping another country though. If you succeed they will drop out of the faction and their alignment will move closer to yours

Steam Version Patch 3.4. is out now. New problem - every day the
message "Nationalist Spain annected Republican Spain" pops up, the event happened 2 years before !

did you start a new savegame?

Thank you for the patch. Just playing a MP game and noticed an ctd when I click in the new theater interface menu onto any theathers of the other human players...

does it always do that or only on some countries? havent noticed it before.

steam patched quickly this time, wondering why...............hmmmmmmmm Stockholm HQ phone called Seattle it seems.......

What is the flipping problem with checksums, this nonsense has gone on long enough now. My clan and I were planning a multi game on Monday yet we all have 3 different checksums between us so we can not join the games. My checksum is RXEX and the hosts is KMZO, we both have the steam version so I do not understand why this is a problem. Please sort it out Paradox or post an official work around it's not for the users to sort your bugs out. The sticky in the multi forums is also useless as it gives no solution so please don't direct me there to look at it.

If you have the wrong checksum you have modded/corrupted files. There is nothing for us to "sort". Revert your files or remove everything and reinstall.

Not again a patch. Do I have to restart a campaign every time a new patch is relseased?!?! I mean its really annoying, just started and came forward a few years and have to restart again because of a new patch...

I plan to finnish my campaing this summer but if I have to restart every time its not fun. Is there no better continuation for safegames?

Either continue on the old version until you finish your game, or take the chance and patch + continue...

I just met up with a group of people and we're planning to have a big multiplayer game, problem is, they're getting the FDAJ checksum and I have KMZO since I have the steam version. Does this mean I will not be able to connect?

Sadly not. You have the correct Steam checksum while they have the correct non-Steam version, but the two will not connect.

Wrong. I have never modified HOI3 and I have had steam re-check the files to see if they are corrupted. Try a quick search on your own forum with the word checksum and you will see I am not the only one. Such an awkward system to use.

I am not wrong, but if you don't want to follow my advice it is your choice.

Yes you was right and I was very wrong, sorry for the attitude. Me and the Steam users are all the same checksum.

We are now trying to sort out Steam and Gamersgate checksum and having no luck. Is it possible for Paradox to release a .exe for everyone to copy and paste so we can have the same checksum or is there more to it?

More to it, sadly. We are looking into it, but I can't promise anything at this point.
