Good AAR, subscribed! Maybe add a fast forward in for when you're fiddling around without a lot of talking, that way you can cut down on your upload times, and if people really want to see a particular OOB they can just pause in the right place? Just an idea, I definitely didn't mind the time, and it looks like it'll be a fun format!

There are some black areas in the middle and end, but these are great, can't wait for the third, and some action!

I know there was a black part from 33:00 to 38:33 i am really sorry for that! Glad you liked it Part 3 is nearly done :)

May I ask why you research both bomber targeting focus and fighter targeting focus? You should only focus on one of them, atleast thats what I thought.

I like to have a balanced end in the first year but i will switch to fighter focus later in 1937 (Episode 2).

I still think that you should have reduced the video length in case of the build-up phase - 1936 isn't the most exciting year in HOI3. Still, I'm looking forward to 1937, too, if you plan to start the war historically :).

You can watch extracts, say 5 sec shot per minute ;)
I skipped some parts, e.g. when all on-screen action consisted of creating HQs... I like when the player is talking, i.e. describing their decisions or making various comments about the game/mod/country/whatever (in Part 3 I liked how Death6 told us about his fascination with Japan), but let's face it - 1936 is mostly for OOBs.

I am sorry if it was boring but i wanted to keep them for some new players to see i stated this before. I also said experienced players can skip this :) 1937 will be way more exciting for sure. I am going to record Episode 2 Part 1 tomorrow and will report back. I am so glad that you guys reply and tell me your opinions and feelings about this whole AAR. It really means a lot!

Nice to see a Black ice AAR, keep it up ! What software are you using for recording ?
I`m thinking about doing an Italian AAR myself, as soon as the new patch is out..
What is your strategy for Japan ?

Thanks for the support i am using Fraps for recording. You should do an Italian AAR Italy is always a great challenge.

My Strategy is pretty much historical. My main aim was stated in the first post of the AAR. I want to create a Great East Asia Co Prosperity Sphere which will sustain Japan with Resources and manpower aswell as being independent from the Western Powers.

Well done and helpful keep it comin, please.
Forgive me my nit picking but u mention Japan as being very militaristic and "right wing" actually they would be considered leftists. Right wing refers to those who favor small gov't with extremely limited controls over the population. And that is certainly not what Japan had. Left wing refers more to those with nationalized economies and more limits on populations freedoms, property, and enterprise. Infact most of the militaristic type govts are leftwing..... Nazi, Communist, Socialists etc. Really militarism can be associated with either left or right. Simply because a govt is militaristic is no indicator of whether it is left or right. Again sorry bout that. I'll get off the soap box now.

Japan was anti-communist and anti-socialist in 1930s and 1940s, so it would be hard to call its government left-wing. Generally I think that the distinction between the left and the right is ridiculously outdated (it's mainly treated seriously only by left-/right-winged fanatics), but right-wing are not just parties/ideologies which are in favour of limited government (this is liberalism - think freedom, liberty etc. and it's often closer to the centre than the right), but also all kinds of entities which promote conservative or nationalist world-view. In reality Japan was controlled by a military clique with several competing factions which were mostly concerned with securing power for themselves.

Wings are still used in Germany :) I don't know about the rest of the world but wiki also has it so i think i am right about right wing. Even Hearts Of Iron has it afaik. The Military factions pretty much occupied japan and also used the Emperor as a tool to control the populace as well. The Emperor was no ruler he reigned.

I know that the terms "left-wing" and "right-wing" are still used, but mostly for rhetorical reasons, because in practice most parties combine the elements of both the left- and right-winged ideologies, even if they don't admit it openly. Also, definitions of ideologies is generally a controversial topic and they can be quite messy or strange sometimes. When I first heard what the Americans describe as "liberalism", I couldn't stop laughing :D.
