*A speech from President Lincoln* The last sixth months have been a troubling time for the USA, and not only due rebellion engulfing our Southern states. The vile ideologies of Marx are already spreading their tendrils across the globe, reaching as far even as Korea. They speak of freedom for all, but their revolution has only been marked by the blood of thousands.
I cannot ignore comparisons with our own rebellion, which also rejected the democratic process of government and is now violently fighting against the Union, like a spoilt child except supposedly grown men. Some may ridicule this comparison, saying that the so-called 'Confederacy' fights to be able to enslave, not free people as the 'Worker's Commonwealth' does, but what is the difference if both use the blood of their own people to achieve their aims?
To the Black people of the South, I urge you not to fight for your own oppressors. The States you are now fighting for brought war to this nation for their 'right' to enslave their fellow man. How can you abide this? How can you march to your deaths, knowing that everyday you fight, you are ensuring that your wives and children will remain in servitude. The rich of the South sit behind closed doors and laugh at their success; not only have they used you for economic gain, but now they send you to die so that they may keep you in chains.
OOC: Treading thin ice I suppose but what the hell. What would actually happen if I "EP'd" now?
Good update, didn't realise we were already upgrading our army levels.
