I wish to make a motion to the state of West Virginia to ready all avilable troops to prepare to defend this nation and the Consitution from the Great Dictator; as well, I would suggest to all states that if his Majesty continues in acting in such a fashion, and referring to himself as such, perhaps secession would be a more prudent decision...

I am hearby declaring the state of New Hampshire its own country until this crisis is restored. We will follow the consistution, but for now I will be its president until we are established. First election will be in four years. The state senate will be the country senate. There will be no house of representatives.

Well, it would appear that I am no longer part of the United States Senate; of course, that institution seems to have died with the election of Mr. Brown. I will be returning to West Virginia (which will, despite Mr. Brown's attempts otherwise, remain sovereign) and I will immediately draft and send a bill to the West Virginia Congress annoucing our secession from the Theocratic Empire of Brownland, or whatever Mr. Brown prefers to call his personal playland.

Under arrest?!? Suspension of the Constitution that you say you hold so dear? If you truly upheld the constitution then you would have submitted to the Senate when first you were called for impeachment. I call upon the state of Maryland and all the states to resist this usurpation of power. I also call for General Dempsey, the rest of the Joint Chiefs and the Commanders of the 6 Commands of the US Armed Forces to disregard all further commands by the Usurper-in-Chief until his removal is effective and the Constitution once more governs our great Republic.
