29 July 1916 - United Kingdom and France Make Peace!
BERLIN - News has reached our News Bureau that the French and the British, after the United Kingdom has decided to end the alliance between our nations due to the instability and the reforms that appear the current Government is trying to ram reforms through, at a time when this nation's war effort is faltering as we speak. The British have removed them selves from the front line, and are currently located in the Netherlands, making ready to be transported back to the British Isles. Our brave German Soldiers have been ordered on a full retreat, to try and make up for the holes in our lines. Current reports show that fighting is close to the German-Belgian border. Reports that Luxembourg has been invaded are proving to be true, and we can only watch as the French charge across the landscape. News from London states that the peace between the two nations brought the French to pay massive reparations against Belgium, and Belgium signed an alliance with France as well as the ability to use their land to conduct warfare.
Here at the Berlin Times, are sure that dark days lay ahead of us.
