In another post someone said there were assault guns. Is this via an event? I don't see anything that can be researched and none of the techs mention improvment to the AG stats. Or is it called something different?

An area of improvement that I want to see in the next patch:
Is it possible to show the max skill of leaders in the leader assignment screen. It could, for example, appear next to the leader photo. That'd be great because it facilates optimized selection.

Very heartbreaking to see China has failed me again and again (I played twice and China always fell into the hand of Japan) even though I max out all the help I could give to China (i.e. -5% IC reduction on Germany part). In both scenario, China was crushed by May 1938 and Aug 1938, respectively. Do you think there's a need to nerf Japan to achieve balance?

Why are my units starting with 16.25 exp instead of 25 exp? They are totally new units, built from the very beginning with specialist training. I noticed because while my armoured units get 3 awards since the very beginning, my new infantry divisions start with none.

I wonder if this has to do with reserve/mobilization. As a unit takes reinforcements it lowers the experience. So maybe building as reserves and then mobilizing them ends up being treated as taking reinforcements. If so I may have to rethink the speciality training law till after war has started.

In Dies Irae:G only Tank Destroyers are available. In my sub-mod for Dies Irae. You will have Light/medium/Heavy TD and Assault Guns/Heavy Assault Guns. If you click the link in my signature you can see a pic of the SS-SturmGeschütz Abt. 1 "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler"

Devildread and team, thanks for a great mod.

One thing I noticed, on the support for the winter war event you have Stalin spelled Staline. :)

If I don't comment a bug report don't worry, I'll fix it anyway (I just don't want to quote 1000 persons on the same post). :)
Thanks for reporting and please go on.

Old Guard Leaders. Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. Especially as Germany, who have good leaders to spare; I'm aware that they play a role for other nations. The AI has no clue how to use them (never, or maybe for Garrison divisions), and they just get in the way.

Please could you bring back the "fire them all" event/option from ICE?

If someone wants to do it I'd be glad to add it to a patch. :)
You can send a private message to Hraban, he is the one who did it of ICE.

I dont know if this issue has been mentioned but I'm having a slightly annoying issue with the unit info pop-up. When I select a brigade to see the 3D soldier and stats it pops up with the exit button below the bottom edge of the screen. This means every time I look at the pop up I have to drag it up a little bit to exit. It fits on my screen, but just pops up too low. Anyone else have this? I'm playing in 1280x768 if that matters.

The popup are configured for 1024 high. I'll see if I can reduce that but I am afraid you will have to move them manually.

There are no assault guns.

I'll think about it, this is not quick to do so I don't know if I want to try.

I'd say you have no luck because in my games with full support China always achieved a stalemate near the Mandchurian borders about 38-39. Then they need my help tho (bombers and interceptors) in order to push but they don't lose.

If I have more reports about that I'll try to make the help bigger for China.

None of the new loading screens appear during loading.

Check the first post of the thread. The reason is stated.

Ummm.... thank you, jju_57, now I see why it happened. I built those units as reserves when I was at 2 year draft, then changed to 3 year draft, so they had to reinforce, and I guess that´s why they had their exp lowered to 16.25. I was not aware that reinforcements lowered the units exp, but I guess it makes all the sense (at least during peacetime)

There are no "assault guns" but if you'll look at the SPArt flavor types, that's what you're looking for. They added quite a few new TDs as well.

I noticed some leaders (e.g. von Manstein) have one or more traits called "nulltrait" and the tooltip says "Experience Gain 0%". The trait icon look like the supplies icon. Is this correct?

They're not in my game?

No Idea: Mobilizing a unit with less than 25% should cause it to *gain* experience. Meanwhile a unit with over 25% should lose experience when mobilized or reinforced. That's how it works in vanilla. (It's 30% in vanilla, though.) It will still have less than the max amount of experience though. In vanilla, a unit trained as a specialist reserve (with 3 year draft) will have ~22.5% exp. when mobilized.

Not sure if it is a bug or suppossed to be that way. If I get myself into the Second Sino-Japanese War on the chinese side, I can't get the Munich Agreement anymore.
Besides it gives the player quite an advantage as you save IC and you don't have to do anything in the war.

I fixed it. I had edited the GER leader file to remove old guards. I must have screwed up something there because when I switched it with the original file it works. I've never seen this error before though ...
