Disheartening to see no mention of the terrible Mac port framerate issues on this list.

Offers for ransom, or for releasing from prison, when the player is the receipent don't show conditions.

Finding Which Coven does not show requirements progress. I only see this:
  • At least one of these:
    • Has the trait: Witch
    • Has a Witch secret known by you
This should show % of house members, like it used to before newest update.

Wow, is this still bugged?
Also, same-religion neighbours never join the defensive side of holy wars (but the tooltip still warns about it when starting one). It has been bugged this way since the release.

Those bugs are a low priority because Crusader Kings is (currently) not a game about religious warfare. Religious warfare is (simultaneously): not in the CK3 team area of interest / controversial / not the best thing to base the game marketing around / a feature than tends to bring a lot of shady and toxic types into the community (obviously, together with history buffs and other decent people - but the PR cost is definitely there). The whole franchise is heavily moving away from the religious warfare topics (the title stays for brand recognisability reasons).

The game (currently) focuses on random emerged hilariously absurd things - just like e.g. Dwarven Fortress. It can be extremely fun, just not that serious and immersive. And definitely not strategically challenging.

Anyway, the (observable) bug priority goes as follows:
  1. bugs that make the game impossible to run for some players, therefore making them unable to use the product they paid for (if the issues are serious a hotfix happens before the full patch);
  2. bugs that make the game unfun for the significant majority of players - e.g. randomly losing land without explanation (tend to be fixed in the nearest patch);
  3. bugs causing visual glitches (tend to be fixed in the nearest patch);
  4. bugs in mechanisms that the team considers to be a trademark aspect of the game - e.g. claim inheritance (fixed sooner or later);
  5. "bugs" fixable without heavy coding/scripting as a work of love - e.g. fixing a database issue with a lesser-known ruler or culture (fixed randomly);
  6. bugs in existing AI - AKA - the big pile of decision weights (extremely volatile and hard to fix + surprisingly many players do not like the AI to be that hard = often left to rot);
  7. bugs in non-existing AI (even worse than the category above, because someone already tried to code those things and failed);
  8. bugs in events (they are rare, they rarely impact the whole campaign, let them be if the fix is not a simple one).

I find it really odd that the one big bug not mentioned here is that numerous players are experiencing crashes to the desktop when starting the game with the DLC. You would think this would make the list because one glance at the forum topics will show you that this is a MAJOR PROBLEM, especially considering that we can't even get to the point of trying to start the game to even encounter the other issues on this list. You would think it would at least make the list. ???? So we are getting charged $30 for DLC we don't even get to play. And now it is 4 days post-launch without even acknowledgement enough to even make that list of known issues. WTF Paradox. This should have been fixed on day 1.

Since 1.5.0.1 version I'm unable to become a witch.

Tried be a child with a witch tutor, chose learning focus on medicine or knowledge to get the events and so far nothing.
Does the chance event decreased or removed with this new version?

Hello

I am not sure if this is a bug as such, but it sure seems to be one to me.
My brother still will inherit the Empire of Scandinavia, even though I have destroyed that titel and all kingdoms titels of Noway, Finland and Sapmi.
And it would be nice to be able to redefine the "Empire". Or is the idea to do it through "Integrate Titel"??

Adopting Parochialism tradition;
Not necessarily a bug but a quality of life improvement, can we see what our current percentage of counties with city holdings is? 90% is high and adds 3000 to the price. It would be cool if I could see how close I am.

Also lots of people experiencing CTD when launching with version 1.5 and new DLC or 1.5 without Royal Court DLC. 6 days post launch and still no fix for this.

Yes, I'm not sure what was done - but the faces, in particular the eyes, are just horrid.
Yeah I believe this should be added to known bugs list. There's something wrong the the eyes of many characters around the world. I believe the latest expansion broke something.

An odd situation I noticed. In the cultural innovations screen at the bottom where it states the learning skill, mine says - always, regardless of the ruler's learning skills - base 5 (-2 because impatient {even if i do not have that trait}). So that's a bit odd. maybe it sticks with the initial player's skills and never updates throughout the changes of rules? it always stay the same.

Quick update. after exiting to Desktop and then relaunching, it solved the Learning skills number in the cultural innovation screen. weird. So it doesn't update when there is a passation of powers, but when you exit to desktop and then reload the game, it does.

Read the description of "Confederate Partition" under your succession law there. It creates titles that you hold the land of for your heirs at succession even if they weren't already created yourself. This is to avoid gaming the system like you're trying to do by leaving titles uncreated or destroying them so they don't get split up. You need to enact regular Partition as your succession law if you want to get away with that

I keep getting random instances of random kings and duke showing up and causing havoc regardless of succession rules, affecting both me and the AI. I thought it was a solitary bug but now I think it's a systemic bug in the game.
I don't know exactly what happened to cause this madness, and I suspect is the entire issue, But meissen was 3/4 turned into the kingdom of bavaria while the duchy of bavaria still existed entirely severately, my duchy moravia was swiped from my vassal and heir without them dying, and my son lost his county to another independent realm which spontaneously formed. the three men in question were not in succession previously, nor do they have any lineage which would garner a claim, nor was there a war for it, nor anything else, one day everything was progressing well, and then the next a third of my kingdom is just gone to lesser men who appeared out of nowhere without warning, carved up two neighbors, and left me wonder wtf just happened.

saves included, the autosave is the january before it happens. This is really quite frustrating that this sort of thing got passed playtesting. It's happened two for two games, I have a feeling its a frequent issue.

Guests dont leave after feast is over, best way to replicate this is have your son or daughter married and ruling elsewhere either as themsels or as the spouse of a ruler then hold a feast and check if they are attending, if they do watch after the feast because they will remain there indefinitely until a feast gets held alswhere and then they get stuck overthere and so on

Come on Paradox, why isn't this bug on this thread:
