What I would like to see would rather be a tabletop consisting of one big touchscreen that's stable enough to let you lean on it, so you could hover over the P'dox games like a general over his map.

Europa Universalis started as a tabletop game, so why not? That's when I would start playing multiplayer.
All this hullaballoo, just because someone found out about the "Remote Connection" feature that PCs have had since the 1990s ????
