BOPACK
Battlegrounds Of Paradox Addons for Crusader Kings
WHAT IT IS
BOPACK is a collection of CK and DV additional events
WHAT IT DOES
BOPACK is an addon, rather than a mod, because it doesn't modify any CK/DV original files
WHAT IT CONTAINS
BOPACK contains new events written with following objectives:
-) covering game aspects neglected by the official Paradox events
-) creating greater cause-effect dependence among all CK playing elements
-) increasing game difficulty for anyone choosing high levels and using bad reputation and low efficiency playing style
-) introducing historical-legendary events compatible with CK game mechanics and timeframe
-) using new graphic images for ALL events and taking care of event texts guaranting better flavour
HOW INSTALL IT
a) copy all downloaded components inside the main folder of CK (where the executable CK.EXE resides)
b) for every downloaded component perform WINRAR option 'Extract Here' (typically select file, right click, choose 'Extract Here' from menù)
c) confirm, if required, the overwriting of existing files
d) save a copy of the original file db\events.txt (eventually to recover it)
e) modify the file db\events.txt adding at the bottom the content of the file db\events_BOP.txt (typically, using notepad or whatever else text editor, open the file db\events_BOP.txt, select the whole content, memory copy with CTRL C, open the file db\events.txt, go after the last line, paste from memory with CTRL V, save the changes, exit the editor)
