v46 is out! grab it here http://www.filefactory.com/file/2ko48r10pqqd/COLOUR_v46.rar

There is an important fix for GER, the image of general Tolsdorff was wrong and is fixed now.
Most images are for FRA and ROM, IIRC.

ills for

ENG, FRA, USA, JAP, ITA, SOV, MON, MEN, MAN, YEM, VIC, BUL, LIT, ETH, POL, ROM, HUN, SAF, CAN, AST, NZL, IND, CRO, YUG and maybe more which i forgot (?)

same goes for the TTs, cant remember all, but new suggestions like the JAP RIKEN institute https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIKEN

Well i made a small update for v47.
Download it here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/5z5vnkzqf4en/COLOUR_v47_b.rar

The actual reason was that i missed to include the updated vichy event.
BUT quite a few new images made it in the package, so even for those who downloaded v47 already v47_b is worth checking out.

Yes it is shocking that would just throw 1000s of hours of historical research into the wind for some not even pretty pictures. I don't understand why they are diluting the absolutely unique strength of their games namely their real historical depth. But I guess the marketing people believe that people don't know anyway that Joe Stalin was the 43rd President of the USofA and just want some nice looking war games. :).

You nailed it fab.
They had a feature no other game in this world has and they threw it away, LOL.
They won't be able to reproduce it, so this is actually a bit sad.

Well, that is one thing. The other weird issue is how those people are coded: http://www.hoi4wiki.com/List_of_commanders

just compare the skill level of Model, Paulus and List to some generals of Minor states.
Interestingly, Graziani is completely left out for Italy; for GER to FMs (Busch and Schörner) are missing, while unimportant generals (Hell, because of that oh-so-superfunny-name)
have a seat.

Wow, didn't know that...

I hereby discovered that it's good nobody messed with Afghanistan during WW2: look at that general they had! He might have vanquished e.g. the entire Heer with just a handful of militiamen... :D

Jokes apart: I'm very happy AoD won't have anything to fear re: its first place among WW2 simulations for years to come.
