We're releasing a playable demo for HoI2 today. It contains a playable battlescenario, where you can play as either the Allies or the Germans in the Ardennes Offensive.

Its a cutdown version, where you can't techresearch, build new units or conduct diplomacy. (As most our battlescenarios work.)

But IIRC everything that the public knows is outside of NDA - maybe he wants to see if he can tell his friends what a great game he is going to give them as belated christmas gifts?
