Long story short...what is the American AI doing?
9tGNqGV.png

I would say delivering units but sometimes it is empty both ways and sometimes it is carrying a airborne unit both ways. ?!?!?!?

How does one change the supply node start point. Either by hook or crook. As Italy, It's using at minor port far from the action in the Horn of Africa... currently pinned the Brits up in Port Sudan, but supply node starts in Mombasa. I've suspended the convoy from that point. Odd, as initially I had Asmara first node.

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find it. My UK game is threatened by a stalemate at Copenhagen where the Germans have given up attacking and are doing a headless chicken perambulation around northern Germany. Last time this happened it ruined my save. So how do I manually get Germany to attack without having all my forces reorganised by the AI for the hour or two I am playing Germany?

First, try saving, ending and restarting the game. Sometimes that helps.

If it doesn't, keep the game paused. Open the console, type "tag:Ger" without the quotation marks. Give the AI an objective or a direct order. DON'T UNPAUSE!!! In the console, type "tag:Eng" again without quotation marks. You can check, but since you never unpaused, the AI shouldn't have been able to do anything. Major here NOT to unpause until you're back in control of UK.

Thanks for the response misterbean, but what or where is the console? Sorry to be a bit dense.

you open the cheat console by pressing CTRL+0, or the "~" key. This will allow you to enter a cheat code to "tag switch" (change the country you control without having to save and reload) and a load of other goodies. The full explanation is in the HOI 3 Wiki.

AFAIK it's "tag ENG", not "tag:Eng".

I load my save game and now I have two generals Vlassov. One is winter specialist, other is offensive and defensive specialist. I didn`t notice this before. Not a big problem, but is there any way to fix it?
Mhm if they have different traits, I suppose they represent different guys? Do they have the same portrait?
I guess you could "kill" a leader in the savegame file, and it shouldn't be overly complicated. I just haven't done it yet for myself.

Two questions
1. Are strategic resources only shared war time? Portugal is close enought to share according to tooltip (playing Germany) but i don't get anything. I'm in peace.

2. I want to make winters worse, will adding this to defines.lua help COLDSUPPLYTAXMODIFIER = 0.125,

OK. Is there a way to remove one?
Go to /history/leaders/SOV.txt and remove the one you want - it will change your checksum, and you will have to start over though.

1. War time only.
2. I doubt it.

If you want to make winters worse, maybe increase the attrition in cold conditions for everyone who lacks winter/arctic equipment? That propbably means increasing it in general and tweaking the reduction of that penalty with this tech accordingly.

Thanks for answers but the point was that if i add COLDSUPPLYTAXMODIFIER = 0.125, to the defines will the engine understand it. Well need to try it out i guess...
